Charlo has a lot of heart. He was outboxed first a lot of this fight and he continued to press on and dig until he got that KO, against a VERY SKILLED boxer, albeit a soft chinned one. This was a great fight. And even though I question his maturity at times, Jermell Charlo has proven himself as the number 1 guy at 154.

This was a damn good fight. Harrison showed dawg by backing Mell up and by outstriking him on the inside. Charlo showed an insane tank and the ability to carry his power into the championship rounds. I had it 95-94 Harrison at the time of stoppage

Yep...so true. Many people were saying the opposite that Harrison was in Charlo's head but I believe that was bs because most people do not like Charlo and Harrison was saying things (i.e Charlo is a punk) that people wanted to hear rather than stay on the topic of boxing and state facts. I honestly felt that Harrison was full of it throughout the time leading up to the fight as he would evade questions regarding the injury to his ankle and circumvent it with an answer that would leave many bewildered. Also, I sensed a bit of doubt in his speech too. I just felt he was not all the way there in his confidence and it really showed in the face-to-face interview that Charlo was not phased by Harrison's talk.
But he won so it doesn't matter whose in whose head anymore. 🙂

Tony Harrison got a lesson this fight and that is to not get too cocky against a good, tough, power punching guy like Charlo who was the world champion and should have been, in my opinion, the title holder coming into this fight as I saw him winning the first bout. Harrison fought well and I had him winning the fight by at least a couple rounds as he exhibited great defense and accuracy. He tried to stun Charlo's morale with taunting but it did not work. I really had a good feeling on Charlo winning and I really respected him more than I did Harrison throughout the duration leading up to this fight as he was more real and genuine in everything he said and in his demeanor. Nonetheless, both fought well, but Charlo came through, won, and lived up to his words on knocking Harrison out. Great victory for him.

Charlo got lucky, he lost every round except for the 2nd & the 11th, I thought it was an early stoppage, should of let him hit the ground
I don't see how 2 of the judges had Charlo winning more rounds before the KO. I only gave Charlo round 2; anything else would've been generous. Harrison put on a masterclass and got too comfortable. Hope he learns from this

Same here. I don’t think everyone commenting watched live. Charlo was actually getting walked down every round. He was getting schooled to some degree. Boxing is a sport were one punch can change or end the fight. That was the case tonight. If I’m the elite in that division, I’m asking to fight Charlo after what Harrison was able to do.
Reasons why most are sussing out PBC to be stifling boxing, in the last 2yrs. They wanted Charlo to win, as he is more outspoken and has this bad guy persona. Same they do with Deontay Wilder. Protecting their goose and no coincidence it's all happening under the WBC syndicate(not a governing body anymore), who tend to be in on the fix in these things.
@@ChazdonStrickland If you're elite in the division, then you know you ain't as skilled as Harrison because Harrison is the most skilled fighter in the division. All the other two times he was knocked out he was producing a clinic against Nelson and Hurd, until he got caught.
No one else in the division gonna give Charlo the kind of trouble Harrison did because no one else is as skilled as Harrison.

@@blaisehanon Charlo was clearly ahead on the judges scorecards. They even said it on the broadcast. Either way Harrison was taken a beating and I'm glad the fight got stopped because I would hate to see a good fighter get KOed viciously because that was gonna happen had the referee had not stopped it

Harrison thought he had the fight, tried to coast and got sloppy on defense and he got caught. Charlo in the first fight was only trying to get him out of there with the right hand. The left hook was a great equaliser for Charlo. Showboating was Harrison’s downfall. You tried to prove something instead of just winning the fight.

This was a great fight! Harrison was winning the fight but got too comfortable (playing around) and paid the price. You can never get comfortable in that square circle. Especially with a beast like Charlo.
I’m so happy that he didn’t tko while he was actually showboating because then that’s all you would hear people saying No instead he let Harrison make himself look dumb by doing all that showing off to only get stopped in the 11th round I love to see it !
