Thanks for this video. Always appreciate your advice. As a Florida resident, I have to say, the only place I have encountered the sulfuric smelling water was in Orlando. Fort Lauderdale, Boca and other places on South Florida do not suffer from the smelly water issue.
Just on car hire, we've always hired a car and usually stay on site at WDW. In April we decided not to hire a car for the duration and only had it for 1 day so that we could do the Outlets Target and Cheesecake Factory. It was great and it meant that for the 1 day we did have a car, we focused on what we needed to do. So it depends on your needs, where you are staying, where you want to visit etc but personally I don't think it's a necessity. Also don't forget Disney will start charging parking fees at the resorts from Jan 2020. Universal already charges for resort parking.
Definitely not necessary if you are staying on Disney but nice to have if you want to venture further. Good idea you did just getting one for a day or so so you can go out and about
We sometimes go to Golden Corral for a healthy meal as it’s a buffet style restaurant and you can choose a healthy option if you want. There are quite a few around. 👍🏻😀
Worth mentioning that Disney have started charging for parking at the resorts (when staying overnight) apart from on DVC resorts (points or cash stay). So having a car on site becomes more expensive. AP free parking only applies to the theme Park parking.
@@TheLodgeGuys Yep I believe Disney initially said parking would be charged and then didn't realise their contracts with travel companies for 2019 had already been agreed and had to back down quickly. I just wanted to point out that AP does not get you free parking at resorts overnight (eventually) ;)
Hi Nick Leigh looking for a holiday for my family to Florida next year 2 adults 3 children 11 5 and 1 could I please ask you which holiday company you booked Florida through please?i i have been on VRBO villas and there are villas for £900 a week for a family of 5 any advice on flights would be greatly appreciated.
Hi guys, recent subscriber and I'm planning a trip to Disney for my family. I'm a teacher and only have 2 options for travel dates. What is the best time to go, Either late August (from the 16 onward) or October from the 17th ? Thanks (Please help)
My hubby would like to know where’s the best place to get a steak in Orlando? We’ve been to Orlando a few times but never really adventurous with restaurants. So the best place for steak in Disneyworld & off site would be great to know if you get a chance. We’re booked to go in 2020 so plenty of time to gather all the info for the best trip. 😊
Nick and leigh Zoe s kitchen is a must for healthy fresh light foods and really good prices drive to Conroy road near universal next to a target u will love it
Would you guys contemplating going Kennedy space centre.. I went a few years ago and was stunned how amazing it is.. Even did the dine with a astronaut
