I hate to say it, but I'm w Ellias on the Percy Jackson movie 😅 like, it's more like the Peter Johnson movie, but if you divorce from the source material it's actually a decent teen Greek mythology movie. That said, i am SO ready for a proper PJO adaptation.
I am at a point where i really want to read a book i like and yet i have an exam on Monday so i have to study for it, so here i am on youtube doing none and just watching Jesse and Elias C: Makes sense
Jesse says "I'd say my most hated trope was Student-teacher relationship" and I go screaming saying "YES YES YES, I KNOW RIGHT?!" because I'm reading My Dark Vanessa. I can actually tolerate the student-teacher relationship to a certain extent really. In The Love Hypothesis, I didnt really get a feeling of Adam being very old at all except for like very rare scenes, which didnt disturb me essentially. But this book is...um.. I wouldnt say it's BAD. The author just chose a topic I dont like. But she executed it amazing. So I cant blame the book or the author.
I also didn’t have to imagine the Sarah J Maas situation. I was honestly too stubborn to DNF ACOTAR anyway, so I would have bought them all individually regardless 😅
hahah jesse bringing out the receipts xD huu agree first person tends to be easier to read and agree knowing what the character is thinking etc but i like multiple povs too. agree on standalones, with series ive to wait until sequel comes out/ until the whole trilogy or series is out to then start binge reading them, bc if not illve forgotten things/ plot from previous books if ive to wait to long to read sequels. so in that way i guess i would prefer a bigger standalone. its so funny seein u guys talk about this and interact, definitly do more colabs. i know right i thought tmi movie was good wayyyyyyyyy better than the show for sureeee YESSSS JESSE COMIN IN WITH THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE ADAPTATION YESSS SIRR!!
