The sad part is not only do they come across as men in women's clothing(which almost defeats the purpose entirety), but to then have them manhandled your mains with ease and in humiliating fashion is nuts as it is an insult to anyone'sintelligence. But of course, those examples don't necessarily apply here, but given the history, one can't help but feel a certain way. And while I prefer a male lead, let's not forget the many good females leads up to this point. Lara croft, Samus Aran, Selene Vassos, even the lead in ghost of yotai stands out. I'll take that over ubisoft's sorry attempts AC shadows. There's a noticeable level of pandering, and identify politics that reeks from a mile away.. Most, yes, even in 2024, want to be able jump in a game and enjoy a fun, creative master piece detached from this stuff. It's that simple. ND has a great track record, however, so that's probably the only reason why I would even give it a chance, but if I am being honest right now, I am leaning towards passing on this.
I just don't see it. Fortunately there are other options available.
@rafarylo3450 it would seem my opinion on the matter has triggered someone, and I haven't been brutal on the subject. It's 2024, and yet we agreed to disagree. Hence, not much has changed if i am being honest.
But since you want to take it there, sure, I would prefer to play as a male, I don't hide that, but that's not the issue here.
When you start injecting your ideal, of what a strong woman is supposed to be like, and the examples we have are Nadine Ross, Abigail Abby Anderson, you clearly have a limited scope in that regards.
And while I don't know much about this game, and thus it deserves a chance, thus far from what I see, isn't something I am much interested in playing.

@@rafarylo In these western games, the women look like men anyway. Im starting to think western woke men are just gay. And thats fine if you are, but don't expect to make huge sales.
I'm not seeing the Concord in comparisons at all.
@@jamesmiley6146 I think he's referring to the objectively unattractive character designs.
