love the reaction yeah the song is like about good vs evil and its good how the two guitarist are making it sound as one is good against the other evil
They played it faster than on the album, which is on one hand amazing that they can pull this off, but at the same time, for someone listening for the first time it is difficult, and it sounds weird, too, so the guy who recommended this song, you should have chosen the recent version from the United Pumpkins Tour. Other than that, this song is legendary, and if you listened to it several times, those solos in the middle are absolutely amazing.

@@narvik9035 well... They should. There are tons of amazing songs that last long. Personally, many of my favourite songs are 10+ minutes.
The fathers of european Power metal!
They play live stuff much faster than the original and they cut out a bunch of stuff. If you pick Helloween again I would pick the studio version! And please choose March of time to check out!!
This is an epic song of the Power metal genre, best experienced for the first time by the studio version, as it is so komplexed.
This is the second song in a trilogy of epic songs, (Halloween is the first, and King For a Tousand years is the third).
You should check out their latest epic "Skyfall" from their recent new album. There is a video edit which is about 7 minutes, but the full version is over 12 minutes, i recommend that version.
i guess you coudl say this was the "beginning", about seven years in, but thirty years ago. This was their third lineup already, right after Kai left.
You should listen to the studio version of this with lyrics it'll be a little more cohesive, great band, great album, great song!!
This is a song that the studio version should be listened first. Actually you should do the studio version reaction after haha
Not really, the "united alive" version is better than the studio version with both Kiske and Deris singing in Harmony.
@Ju Yifan althought it is glorious I still think the original studio is better. You cant beat 20 year old kiske vocals

I know people love this song but for me it has always been too much of everything at one place. You should definitely check some of their "normal-length" songs, like "Eagle fly free", "I want out", "Rise and fall", "If I could fly". 🖤

The studio version and United Alive are really better.
This song is complexed, u should try the album version firstly.
