I don't know why the pigs in the barn are always there. I hope they get to go outside once in a while...I reckon they feel left out and stressed out ...
The pigs really were liking the cassava leaves. Maybe next time you could bring some back for them also. They sure are getting big and seem very happy being allowed to be out roaming around with the chickens.
Duong, a suggestion: make a small shallow pond for the pigs at the bottom of the hill. It could be filled with water from the river. They need this to stay cold in summer. Pigs can not sweat.
Absolutely mind-blowing journey! From harnessing nature's elements to forging metals, and now nurturing a whole farm of adorable companions! You've truly mastered the art of living in harmony with the world around you. Your dedication and skill are an inspiration to us all. Keep shining, and may your farm flourish endlessly! That's not even primitive anymore
Chef Duong is at it again! 😄❤ What is the difference between the pigs in the barn and the ones allowed to run free? Why are they kept apart from each other? What is the brown food you feed to the ducks?
He bought the pigs separately and the ones still in the barn still seemed scared of him so he was giving them extra time to get used to him before letting them out.
He has already hurt his back a couple of years ago that took several weeks for him to recover from. His wife took care of his farm while he was recovering. Then she started her own farm and TH-cam channel.
Hello Duong, I had a great idea for your new waterwheel: a water-powered mechanical shredder for organic material, like tubers, leaves, etc. I'm thinking something like two counter-spinning logs, either with wood carved teeth or forged blades where you feed in material from above into a chute and then a basket beneath to collect it. And maybe you can have two sections in that shredder for rough chop and fine chop for tougher material. You would save all the time and effort chopping up animal feed by hand. And as much food as you need for your pigs, fish and everything else, I'm sure it would be worth the effort to build such a contraption, so maybe this sounds like a good idea to you. Have a nice day!
@@PrimitiveSkillsnetone day you could try making bacon from one of your pigs? You have salt now, and you could smoke it over your fire. Maybe you could get goats so you can get milk and then you could make a milkshake? You could also make sugar to make caramel. You could either grow sugarcane or sugarbeet. Of maybe you could try collecting tree sap to make something like maple syrup? I wonder what trees there are that would taste nice… maybe banana tree sap is sweet? If you collect some and evaporate the water by boiling you might get sugar from it.
Hi Duong. Nice to see the livestock thriving. And asof food, you give me ideas to diversify my own cooking, though I am a huge fan of Japanese cuisine (I'm doing some Oyakodon with chicken tomorrow by the way 😊)
Your farm is always clean and tidy and feels really nice. The geese and pigs have become attached to you and are so cute. I didn't know that fish happily eat a variety of plants until I saw your video. Your dinner looks wild and inviting. But I think your wife's cooking is much more to my liking. Please forgive my rude comment. I'm looking forward to your next video. Thank you very much.
Pigs don’t have sweat glands so they overheat easily, you need give them constant access to water or a mud bath otherwise they will get stressed
This is why i thought they'd of been better off on the other side
Sounds like he needs to create a new water feature for the Pigs to stay cool.
Up
That area the pigs stay in goes all the way down to a stream. I guess the pigs would go in the water there when stressed.

As they were on a hill, you may want to replant some or something with big roots every so often to prevent mud slides!

There is a lot of cassava but maybe you should plant what you take. As it's so easy to do for the future crops.

You suggested this on another video, and I still think a rotating blade would work better than the two rotating logs.
