Yoooo Reid what’s good brother?!!! Hahaha awesome that I’m seeing your comment on here and it’s the first I’m hearing that you’re into DK vids. We just talked on the phone like an hour ago haha!
Just started following the last week or so! New to cycling at 54 years old and your videos make me want to get off the road! Great stuff and great entertainment!
When I was in my twenties, and a Cat 3 racer, my wife and I would occasionally join the “old guys” on a ride. The old guys were all in their 60’s. The routes were not completely gravel, but they always had some gravel, and a “short cut” or two. Over logs, fences, through a muddy creek, and at least one road closed construction zone. I’m in my 60’s now and really happy to see that their style of riding adventure is alive and well. They would be pleased :)
Now that's a proper video......and that's why I prefer the term Adventure bike.....for videos like this. Awesome ride Dustin and the guys, looked amazing a right mixture!!
the zombie jamboree is a song my grandad (age 86) used to sing all the time when i was a kid, and ive not heard it from anyone else until now - nice video!
Amazing! Always gets me so stoked. 8:00 to 8:18 was maybe my favorite bit of editing ive seen in any of your videos. Loved it! (Also loving the CWW howls)
Another great one DK! In so many ways your videos are creative and unique, from the content, the editing, the music, the rides, the commentary, the guys, the humor, the bikes, the art, and on and on . . . . Keep up the great work!
Dustin, I live in north Portland and am definitely going to say hello the next time I see you out riding. The Gifford P. is one of my favorite places, BTW.- Don Reichert, near Northgate Park.
Currently in lockdown in Melbourne Aus, These gravel rides got me scheming for when summer rolls around for me and I can escape to the mountains. Keep up the great content :)
The ad came in so I snatched more food, and I'm hearing the shred - I'm sitting down and the commentary is back on. brilliant, funny, and the sarcasm at the beginning ... I'm speechless
New subscriber from Scotland.Loved the video. Seems to encapsulate what riding a bike is all about. Thinking seriously about getting an out and out gravel bike and really like the look of Jena.
Hey Man, great video looked like alot of fun. Myself and a good group of friends up here did a 4 dayer bikepacking trip last week. I love seeing these kinds of rides!
From South MS wishing there was some gravel like that around here. Our elevation comes from the bridges we cross. Great video, its was like I was along for the ride except my legs didn't burn once during the ride!!!
Great video! Convinced me I do not need a gravel bike as at my age (57) I do not need to be anywhere near possibly hitting a tree and spending 12 months in physical therapy to control the pain. Meanwhile, party on!
Bro just binge watching all of your adventure videos and it has been one of the best things ever happened during the quarantine. Loving vicariously through your channel!!! #playerplease
Looked like a great route! Suggest you try the Katadyn Befree filter when you get a chance. Comes in a 1L format and fills faster than the Sawyer. Especially good if refilling bottles for a group ride.
Nice ride man. Although I prefer riding solo (even before Covid-19) I love watching you and you’re crew riding the gravel heaven. Of course I don’t have such crazy, sophisticated friends like Ron to ride with 🤪
Awesome vid. I have a 2017 giant tcx cyclocross bike and want to get into gravel and adventure rides. The gearing ducks though as i have a 36-46 crank 11-28 casette and lead wheels. I use the bike for commuting mostly and have recently gone tubeless. I've been thinking of making a few changes to make the bike more gravel friendly. What do you suggest
These rides, especially you, Doug and Ron have really convinced me to give Gravel bikes and Drop bars off-road a chance. No Wilier Triestina Jena dealers around me. Which is good, as even though it's beautiful, it's way outside my price range. (Would have gone Tundra, btw. Wonderfully unique colorway for a bike.)
I think you guys had the right bikes since it looked like most of the ride was gravel trails. Also the amount of miles and elevation would’ve been impossibly exhausting. Or a lightweight carbon hardtail but the slacker trail would’ve also been garbage on the climbs.
A glass of water or juice just before and just after a hot day ride does help. I've seen miners in some documentary chug even more before a shift (no toilets below the ground), so maybe it's a matter of getting used to it.
Great MUSIC as always! How do you find and implement this (rather old) music without getting copystrikes i always wondered? Would love to know. Cheers!
Great ride as always. I have a food suggestion for you to try - white short grain rice, sugar, coconut milk and peanut butter role made with Nori rather than bread. I always think that you guys under-eat carbs on these rides. You will fuled big time with this food Frankenstein.
Started out watching your paint a bike video liked your style so im gonna stick around lol. I have a 95 cannondale f1000 mtb that im refurbishing and upgradeding. Its chrome, dont know if I wanna polish it or paint it. Part of me wants to keep it original and the other part wants paint so I donno yet
Inside out bibs is the latest must have for any self respecting gravel enthusiast. Ron is wise beyond his years. THIS MESSAGE BROUGHT TO YOU BY CREEK-COOLED-CAPS.
@@EverythingsBeenDone My thoughts exactly! I started searching for it the moment you said the name...then i waited another min and you gave a link. Excellent!
Love the videos Dustin, recently found the channel and going through the back catalogue! On a different note, Ron's bike looks huge, what size is he riding?
General question; do you always need to filter the water, you do it in lots of the videos? It is just in case or is there a specific known something you're removing?
Hi Dustin, I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and I love watching them especially when you are on a group ride with your buddies. Its just I like the way you filmed in the wilderness is awesome I like the actions in the woods and gravel also giving me ideas as well what food to eat and drink on the rides to keep up the energy going. Keep up the good ride. Thanks for posting nice videos. Yeah, one question if you don't mind, because I'm just new to gravel bike, what's the difference between 650 b and the 700c tires?
Stay up today on the gram: bit.ly/DkleinIG
You don't need a mountainbike for these trails - that would be a misnomer - gotta say that Gravel Bikes rock.
Hi Dustin, I’m new here. My brother won a piece of art you did a month or so ago and he got me hooked. A bunch a goofy riders I love it
Reid! that is whats up! Stoked you found your way here. thanks for saying Hello, pleasure to meet you.
Yoooo Reid what’s good brother?!!! Hahaha awesome that I’m seeing your comment on here and it’s the first I’m hearing that you’re into DK vids. We just talked on the phone like an hour ago haha!
I really appreciate that you said thankyou to the hikers who pulled aside .
Courtesy is gold, well done .

You hit the nail on the head my dude!!
Like how you keep that wheel in place in the back of the truck. 👍
If you ride bikes for fun your cool as balls !
G’day Dustin, thanks again! I love my 6.30am coffee and group gravel rides by Dustin. Canberra, Australia
Its an honor to be apart of your Thursday routine! I Love your country btw
Jarod Thurley Another Canberran viewer here! Almost as many great trails here as the PNW... almost. 😊
Hi Dan, is there a group of riders you go with in the hunt for dirt trails?
Just got back from four days of MTB heaven and now I'm relaxing with this video. Ride whatever you want as long as you're riding!
the zombie jamboree is a song my grandad (age 86) used to sing all the time when i was a kid, and ive not heard it from anyone else until now - nice video!
Always a pleasure. Thanks for always getting me ready for my weekend rides! Although Bigger is ALWAYS better in Texas! PEACE!
Always nice to see Winston making a short cameo appearance. He's so adorable! 😍
Great music-again.. Thank you for the content. 😊
You guys are so fun to watch! Love the format and inspiration to ride with friends!!! Keep it going
Thanks so much!!

Hey Dustin, love, love, love the channel. It's as if Wes Anderson loves gravel bikes! Keep doing what your doing.
Always an epic video. I’m living vicariously through you here on the East Coast. You. Are. Fire!!
Hey Dustin!
Me and and the boys have started riding down in Southampton, England, and we love what you're up to.
Keep it going!

Hey! I'm Gianmarco, new here and in the gravel cycling in general, but starting with lots of curiosity, also thanks to your videos!!
Welcome aboard!
Not the first time you've seen a blue BMC. Nice to see someone else is enjoying theirs.
Even more pro is the Vecto 3L Water Container by Cnoc Outdoors, big mouth fill, threaded end to thread the Sawyer filter onto.... I love it!
Dustin, I live in north Portland and am definitely going to say hello the next time I see you out riding. The Gifford P. is one of my favorite places, BTW.- Don Reichert, near Northgate Park.
Very cool!
Still wondrin why DK still hasn't achieved his silver play button. You deserve more man!
Currently in lockdown in Melbourne Aus, These gravel rides got me scheming for when summer rolls around for me and I can escape to the mountains. Keep up the great content :)
Ron must have been sofa kings toned! Thanks for taking us along on another rad adventure. Keep the rubberside down playa!
New here, i think this is the best way to convince your friends to get into Gravel Biking. You guys look like you had a blast.
So stoked you found your way here! Welcome!
Dustin Klein same!

Another great video fella . Ron’s bib on inside out 😂✌️. We all been there
Dustin, awesome ride! Love the mix of gravel, mud and single track. As always looked like a ton of fun!
Great group, rad loop.
Glad you like it!
Fantastic ride. Jealous. Can't believe Ron did that with his bibs on inside out. The chaffing!

Hey. Thanks for Chances with Wolves. Great channel.
We are both thankful for CWW..the BEST!

Fellow artist and biker. You rock !
Those were some impressive numbers at the end!
Big day for sure!!
Hey DK, I reckon your already riding an mtb! gravel bikes are the refinement of OG mountain bikes. Killer as always!
Great video! Convinced me I do not need a gravel bike as at my age (57) I do not need to be anywhere near possibly hitting a tree and spending 12 months in physical therapy to control the pain. Meanwhile, party on!
Great ride video and awesome music!
Another great video player! They always inspire me to get out and ride!
The pro move for the Squeeze is to cut the top off the pint bag and use it as a scoop with the 32oz
loved to watch this gravel adventure, a bunch of beautyfull creatures on bikes!
these videos just keep getting better!

Your boy Ron turned himself inside-out on that ride.
Good stuff. Ron proved that all wearing suggestions are only that. Wear whatever you like, whenever you like and however you like!!!
That man has his finger on the pulse...of something that may or may not be alive ;)
love your vids ,,, even as of now we cant ride here in the Phillipines , i always watch your channel , cant wait for the next adventure
Wow, loved the beginning sequence!
I think you guys had the right bikes since it looked like most of the ride was gravel trails. Also the amount of miles and elevation would’ve been impossibly exhausting. Or a lightweight carbon hardtail but the slacker trail would’ve also been garbage on the climbs.

Love your videos man! Hello from Texas!
awesome upload. almost like your "golden age" series. Blows you with inspiration
Dustin, gotta be real, limit myself to only one of your videos a day because they are so darn good, luckily have a nice back log to keep me going
Damn, what a perfect beat-down!
I love the Kona bike
A glass of water or juice just before and just after a hot day ride does help. I've seen miners in some documentary chug even more before a shift (no toilets below the ground), so maybe it's a matter of getting used to it.
Funnest videos. Right here. Full stop.
Keeping it rad no doubt dk as always. Good times.
Sick content. Do you use a go pro or how do you shoot this
Great MUSIC as always! How do you find and implement this (rather old) music without getting copystrikes i always wondered? Would love to know. Cheers!
I don't always bring a knife to a gunfight, but when I do... olives.
Best crew, indeed!
Great ride as always.

Dustin, What is your opinion on the min tire width for this route you did? Great job! Thanks.
I like 45's for most everything
Not new, great as always. I’m gonna start wearing my bibs Ron style. Could be on to something.
Good morning
Thank you for this.
New fan saying hello. Please start selling some type kits/bibs. A gravel tech t-shirt with pockets. Inside out of course.
Hmmmm likin’ the slo-mo footage :)
Me too!!
"Take that Texas" lol. I' m from Texas. Love the show keep on riding.
I ain't mad either.
You had figs and Ron had manchego and you never thought of doubling up? Some chilled grappa and it would be a full on euro party 🎉
hahaha All we needed was a blanket and some tunes to complete the experience ;)
Is "manchego" what you call someone's "figs" when their bibs are inside out?
I believe Mr. Klein be a vegan
@@marshallsokoloff I thought ron was as well, rip

That's so refreshing, felt like I was riding with you.

Nuts cheese and olives... proper ride food! Good form!

I bet Ron has wine in one of them water bottles. You guys are awesome.👍
Great video as always man love it you guys crack me up. Trying to build up my crew as well
Relatively new to the channel and very new to gravel.

DK and crew never disappoint! Maybe Ron has been doing too much shopping for cheap bibs on Amazon......lol
Manchego cheese!!! I live in Spain and didn't think about that!!!
