My brain needs to remember those numbers to the end of my life.

A supplement to the third question.
Most place names in Kyoto City (especially in the central area) are a combination of the names of the north-south road and the east-west road.
For example, "Higashiyama Shichijo" in this case means the intersection of Higashiyama-dori from north to south and Shichijo-dori from east to west.
I've always thought that people often try to identify rough locations from area codes, but in my personal opinion, I don't recommend it.
It's certainly attractive to be able to narrow down the area by the first two digits, but there are many exclaves in the areas assigned to numbers from "04" to "07" that should not be assigned to those numbers.
Also, phone numbers written on old signs may differ from current numbers, and recently there are mobile phone numbers starting with "0x0" and toll-free numbers such as "0120" and "0800", so I think it's inefficient to memorize all of them at once.
Yeah, I hadn’t considered the challenges with area codes either.
It makes sense that with so many exceptions and changes over time, relying on them could be misleading.
この方前も07は北部って覚えてたけど07は大阪中央エリア(06)以外の関西あたりなんよな
"Chu-oh" means center in Japanese.
