today i talk about these roblox hackers being able to legit ban pretty much anyone they want in roblox through exploiting / hacking at their roblox game and roblox mods will think the creator of the game did something bad yeah
gotta love how a massive flaw in roblox's report system has existed for years, wonder how many people got falsely banned for it

i got a couple years back ago banned for placing a model in my game that was just normal but these stupid viruses banned me
Yet, the weirdest of them all is still Roblox Moderation. Banning random players because they typed "what" or "yes" in the chat. Absolutely atrocious.

The amount of hacking and rumors on Roblox scares me, I hope Roblox can find a way to stop these coming into the fun.
Unfortunately I don't think they'll find a way to stop it soon, although I'd be glad if they did indeed do something, stay safe and be careful with these stuff, I myself too don't want to end up getting my account lost to some of this

Honestly, they should just remove the report system. It's getting used for more bad stuff than it is being used for good stuff. Or at least make it so you have to contact them through email so 6 year olds can't put others accounts at risk for killing them in a game. We are honestly better off without reports.

I think they should rework the reports and actually read the chat logs.

when a mod inspects the issue, they see a game which has nsfw playing for everyone to see, obviously they're gonna think it's the game based on the reports
but that's just the same thing, banning the hacker makes it so the hacker can't hack the game.
I had a cat called Rosie, and she loved watching your videos. Sometimes when she seemed bored, I'd pull out my phone and play one of your videos, and she'd watch it. She got put down for medical reasons on Jan 18th this year, so I just wanted to thank you for entertaining her. :)

I vaguely remember the crossroads incident from a while ago, I don't remember exactly the whole story but it's another great example of Roblox's moderation system being abused by hackers, Roblox probably won't even fix this or acknowledge it really.

I think the reason they could do this is because your game could be easily be backdoored,so exploiters could run serverside scripts.Those types of scripts can break the whole server.
It’s because the models used had scripts in them that allowed the “hackers” to get ownership over the game. It’s why you should make sure there’s no scripts in any models you’re using that you didn’t make

You're wrong. Back then, there was a property option in Workspace in Studio called "FilteringEnabled", When you enable that, It makes it so the modifications in client doesn't apply server-sided, But when it's disabled, For example.. You destroy someone's head with an exploit on your screen, they actually die and the head gets deleted. That's how exploiters did the john doe avatar stuff, But since 2018, FilteringEnabled is always forced to be enabled so exploiters cannot modify much of the things in your game unless there's vulnerabilities...

I personally haven’t been affected by this. Luckily I don’t create games and also don’t spend that much time on roblox, but it’s just sad how roblox pays attention to the bigger creators when issues like this come up. People that have no fan base and just enjoy roblox in general are always at risk to stuff like this, and when they try to give an explanation, roblox doesn’t believe them or just never responds. They should start fixing these ban hacks and should start paying attention to ALL of their players, not just the ones that make more money for them.

As a exploiter i can explain how they did delete your game. From my POV im pretty sure you enabled a html request, that or the model was infected and there is a back door. The way i know this is that it is mostly server sided by the looks of it. Client side is normally harmless hacks to the game. Like maybe they’ll bypass the (somewhat anti cheat) network for fe scripts or play an animation. But server sided affects EVERYONE. If someone inserted BTOOLS or F3X, they could switch the map and send some questionable things. If someone nuked the server they would be nuked, if someone kicked the ENTIRE SERVER everyone would be kicked. This is how you got banned, it was a serverside.
I am also an exploiter, I have created a hard mode script for doors and it is getting into videos without credits. The only reason we can’t make it for the server is due to FE or FilteringEnabled. This makes it so that anything we try loading into the game only loads for us, nobody else.

There are two types of hackers in this world.
Fun hackers: Relatively chill people.
Will sometimes (SOMETIMES) give you free items.
Often using their exploits to troll people or just to have fun.
And then theres the toxic ones.
They’re always rude as hell, they’ll spawnkill you for looking at them wrong, and they exploit to inflict suffering onto other people.

If you are going to drill into Styrofoam, I would recommend using a drill bit. Make sure you make a small hole with a punch so it doesn't skip around. 0:10

The person at 0:56 is me (calwinasalt). Someone paid the person who was doing the exploit at the time 100$ to get me terminated and as you could tell from the video I got terminated shortly after. While I'm thankful it only took Roblox 2 hours to reinstate my account there are other people who have been affected by this exploit (mainly at a time before mine happened) who haven't been unterminated.

Roblox’s moderation is really bad. Just yesterday I saw someone saw a slur in the chat and it was not censored in any way. They didn’t even have to manipulate the word, it was just typed normally.
I have been banned from ROBLOX and yet ROBLOX won’t appeal my ban no matter how many times I do it so this game kinda just sums up how I was banned

Honestly, I hate how ROBLOX bans people for saying stuff that isn’t even against the rules but instead when people actually break the rules, they do nothing about it 💀 its very annoying but ROBLOX moderation sucks in general.
I kind of agree but I’ve done an experiment on an alt account and in that alt account I bypassed the chat filter then I reported the account and then after like a few minutes I got disconnected and warned for “Harassment and Bullying”. So the roblox moderation actually does something but what they do is not effective

Don’t use free models (at least ones with scripts) since hackers can upload back doors into your games. You also have to watch for plugins, I downloaded an unofficial version of Ro-Defender (made by a player in the Roblox Hackers group lol) that inserted a module script that requires another script that was deleted by moderators (luckily). To make it clear, do not let back doors into your game! An exploiter with server access can destroy your game and get you in trouble if they do anything bad.
Moreover, use as few local scripts (scripts that run on the client) as possible and never let the client adjust important player data (how much money). Use remote events that fire to the server sparingly since they are the main way exploiters can give themselves impossible stats, if you need to use a remote event that fires to the server then always check how rapidly it is fired and what conditions are set when being fired. Like if you have a remote event that basically has the client ask the server if it can buy a sword, the server should check how much money the client has, the client asks and the server checks.
Of course, as long as there is a client side, there will always be exploiters and you can’t make your game 100% exploiter proof. While you can prevent the core processes of your game being broken (by making almost everything work server sided and not using remote events) some aspects of your game has to be ran locally so will never be secure.

I miss roblox in 2016 when there wasn’t so many issues with the platform. It’s still a great game and has improved in many ways but I still miss the old times. I think it’s mostly that I miss the old community, though. The new community has become very toxic
