I think Parkway Drive is a perfect mix of chugs, melodic leads and guitar solos. Like their songs are not saturated with overly boring breakdowns like I hear in a lot of bands these days

They played this as their final encore song in Houston on Feb 4th and it brought the house down. They paused and let us all do the Ooooh Ahh Ooooooh part and Winston was just soakin' it up. Grin from ear to ear. This band still does what they do because of us the fans and it shows in every song they put out and every performance they have. I LOVE PARKWAY DRIVE!

Yup. First thing I thought when I heard these guys. I grew up on old I.F. Bought Jester Race and Whoracle in 1997 and loved it. They lost me after Reroute and had a few good songs and a decent album here or there but nothing compared to that feeling of Jester/Whoracle/Colony and Black-Ash. Parkway kills it like In Flames used to. Spot on.
pleasuretokill Exactly my thoughts and experiences with In Flames. I'd go as far as saying that Jester Race is lyrically and musically one of the best albums in metal.

I owe it to Parkway Drive big time. I got into a really bad accident in 2013 and had a piece of my skull removed and later, a titanium mesh plate put in. When I was recovering, I'd throw on some Parkway Drive. This and Dark Days are the two songs that helped me get my chops back on bass.
