I love that it's sponsored but he still gives his 100% honest opinion. Corsair seems like they trust you a lot which in my book makes them more trustworthy, I'd love to see more businesses like this!
It seems like it’s almost the monitor I’d be looking to get next, but I think I’ll wait for a 2160p version. I’ve currently got a 32” 1440p 240Hz display, which I quite like, but its pixel density is a bit lower than I really want. At the price Corsair are asking, it would need to be 2160p for me, as I would end up keeping it for a long time before my next upgrade. I think I’ll just wait another 2-3 years and do a monitor + GPU upgrade at the same time. Great video, Marcus! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this interesting monitor.
It's a great monitor. Bend it for games you want immersion in, and make it flat for media consumption. As someone with 20/20 vision, the PPI isn't a concern with the monitor 80cm away.
Using a curved panel is a pain for Photoshop as you always think the horizon isnt straight but the fact that you can flatten it back is a bonus. Personally I think the size and the price is a little on the large size. If you like ultrawides then 34" is the sweetspot and as you say is half the price. Also I would imagine for most users is once you bend it in place your done with it, so resetting it is more of a gimick. Anyway good video all the same.
I like the idea in case it becomes a companion monitor because you can match the curvature of the other monitor. I have a two monitor set up, and each has a different radius of curvature which is slightly awkward. HOWEVER, I can't imagine having a companion monitor to this behemoth...
Great monitor. Runescape 3 would look fantastic on it, but I guess apart from a bendable screen, we might need to bend space time continuum to finally get it benchmarked.
Would love to see a video about your set-up, daily monitor, speaker set, Desktop build, the lamp and light set-up as well as the black acoustic pads on the wall.
I have the aw34dw from Alienware. Wanted something larger and was buying a second PC setup for my kids and girlfriend to play with me. I tried the LG 45 ultra gear, lg c3 42 inch and Samsung s90c 55 inch. I kept the LG 45 for the motion and 21:9. I also got it open box for under 1100. You can see a difference side by side with 4k but it's hard on most games. The alienware colors pop a touch more but even side by side I prefer the LG ultragear and playing mw2 at 200 to 250 fps in 21:9 as fast as it is I feel like I'm cheating 😂 when 4k 32 inch to 42 inch qd oled 144 Hz or better comes out I may prefer that more but until then the 45 inch ultrawide is amazing.
I'm thinking this might be the way to go with an RTX 4090. I'm not completely sold on 4K yet. I think as games become more taxing a 3440 X 1440 is going to be the better option. Wish they made a 34" version
Pixel density is the biggest issue for me with this. 3840x1440 works on a 32-34" display but any bigger and pixels will definitely be noticeable, especially reading text in a browser etc. Honestly prefer the G9 to this, the 5120x1440p works great in terms of Pixel density and inmersive ultrawide gameplay. I'd avoid the Flex and go for a G9 or a 34" Alienware myself
Hey, PC Centric, please do a video on single-PC gaming and streaming setup on a budget. Please, I have some doubts regarding it: which CPU and GPU to go with, and do I really need a video capture card for a long-hour stream (1080p)? Kindly do a video on this.
It is interesting, but seems expensive, as I also have the Alienware 38" 3840 x 1600 - AW3821DW and find its size and resolution are perfect for work and games.
Firstly, the pricing is for absolute ballers only 💪😉. However …. other than that, the monitor for me personally…… I like the concept, the OLED, but the resolution for this size of monitor is a little low resulting in a lower PPI making the items on screen more pixelated which isn’t for me. I’d prefer a smaller monitor with a high PPI 🤩😱🥰🤤
I’m getting over 300 fps, but I have my monitor and graphics card, matching refresh rate at 270. It never dips below to 270. That’s with everything at max settings 2k.
Just lost my pc .. Couple of days ago .. Because of some outdated components.. My last exam is on 31st of this month .. I am so sad .. Wish i could have a pc as good as yours .. Feeling low, my pc was the only thing holding me together.. no friends no one .. and i lost my pc too .. Life is hopeless
Sir, I'm very proud of your journey. So can you tell me which country you're in, what computer programs you've done to get here... Because I'd love to learn computer hardware and start a TH-cam channel like that. I'm still going to school. I live in Sri Lanka. So I hope sir will give a good reply to my comment..
Love this monitor, however the two major drawback is the price and the 1440p which means it is not a 4k and has a low resolution. Recently I just returned a Samsung oddysey g9 49 inch oled 1440p and keep my old 48 inch LG ultragear 4k oled.
OLED is definitely not for me, since I do work with spreadsheets, but I'm curious with one thing. How many games actually support ultra wide resolution? Is it like a common thing? Or will I have to play with black borders on the sides most of the time?
With such a resolution, you would rather not use it flat anyway. It's not ergonomic and the colors towards the edges are using no longer accurate when using it flat. So I'm not understanding the benefit of this feature.
Matte displays are not good. So tired of seeing mattte displays. Glare is by far WORSE on matte displays. Once I got the alienware oled, it's like a whole new world. I want to take the matte off of my laptop screen as well. It's odd how they keep on it.
Can i have your old monitor lol im broke i know thats not a great excuse but i do love your channel, even tho you will have to upgrade to a new one when this one goes back but it would be like s good samaritan
Probably one of the worst monitors I have seen in a long time. I can see the flex lasting about 6 months to a year before it breaks. And, for me personally, I HATE OLED! I had a 4k 43" OLED LG tv and the picture quality was dire. So, I took it back to Currys (who know as much about electronics as a 90 year old Granny, (I am sure Marcus would agree with me,)) but they are good about returns, and swapped it for a 32" Toshiba 1080p LED monitor. FAR better picture quality and brightness and being 32 inches a lot less space taken up on my desk. Also, to be honest I do not miss 4k. I find the pixel density on the Toshiba a lot better the the LG. And the Toshiba is 120hz where the LG was only 60hz. SO, sorry this monitor would only appeal to me if was say £150. Then I might.

You mean OSRS
@@PcCentric I can run OSRS on a potato. To run the gigachad Runescape 3 on ultra mere mortals might need to run SLI 4090ti with a beefy 13900k on top.
@@PcCentric i think OSRS is well, "OSRS" by itself, Runescape 3 is like a modern-er version of it so its with better graphics than OSRS haha
I just discovered you searching for a opinion on the 4070ti. Very good Videos. I love the energy you put in those. Keep up the good work!
I love your kurgsgasakt posters!
I love how 27" 1440p 120 or 144hz OLED isn't a thing. Cos it would be sort of affordable or perhaps even good value?
they definitely are a thing.
@@minesolo1969 the LG 27GR95QE-B 26.5" 2560 x 1440 240 Hz Monitor is an oled, 999 dollars and its the cheapest one

Been waiting for this one!

it’s all fun and games til you realize you’re not a fan of the curve and just rock with it straight
Have you tested out the 55 Inch Samsung Odyssey ARK 4K?
I need a monitor just like that but in 27+ inches and not curved.
u prefer alienware 34dw or Samsung neo 4k 240hz 32 inch?

I wouldn't spend £2000 for 1440p
Does anyone know where he gets his bright colourful desktop wallpapers?? Love them.
