Thank you Brother. There is no official news about the Kia Seltos Facelift coming to India.Globally the Seltos has got a facelift with some added safety features. But in India Kia has recently rejigged the features so the facelift might be launched by 2022. The features we can expect are panoramic sunroof,electronic handbrake,paddle shifters and some more safety tech,don’t quote me on this.😅
Sir the base variant of Elantra costs 21 lakh₹ on-road and the shine variant of the MG Hector costs close to 17 lakh₹ on-road. And there is no official news about the Honda Vezel coming to INDIA anytime soon. So I suggest you to go for the Honda City or Hyundai Creta SX as they fit into your budget (17 lakh) and offer good value.

Very nice review , Hyundai is not showing interest in elantra i think because its sales is very less , i drive verna and elantra is just a verna with a longer rear space , missing many features of verna also , elantra has 16" wheels which verna also has & even some other lesser segment car gets 17" in indian car market , the diamond cut alloy wheels which looks dashing is in verna , creta , venue & even i20 but not in elantra , elantra alloys looks oldish , only the petrol engine is 2L , diesel is same 1.5 as verna , the sxo is priced between 23 to 25 lakhs onroad and with this price tag we have better cars in market . suv's has eaten this D segment sedan , elantra's competitors are all gone , honda civic , toyota corrola altis , octavia all are currently discontinued . only elantra is struggling with little sales. hope its next generation brings some drastic upgrades .
Agreed. SUV’s have dominated the Indian Car Market and eat up sales of all good cars. No matter if it’s a compact SUV or full size. And yes The Next Generation of the Elantra is coming soon to India. Will have all the latest Hyundai tech & features and will follow Hyundai latest design language.
They should bring in the 1.6 Turbo and 2L diesel and it'll definitely make good sales. I too drive the verna and the elantra doesn't seem like an upgrade over this considering the price difference. And considering the fact that the next gen VWAG C-Segment twins come with a 1.5 TSI which makes the same power and more torque than the elantra, Hyundai seriously needs to give the Elantra an engine update (which they obviously won't) and that's a missed opportunity for them.
