I don't understand who/how people can give a "thumb's down" to your videos. I think you have some great tutorials and I always look forward to what you show next. Have you ever tried using a stiletto to help you hold down your binding, especially in the curves where it's tight. I find it very helpful and almost like a third hand as I can keep it poked into my fabric right up to the needle and I don't risk putting a needle in a finger. Thanks for another great project.

The thumbs down may the zip was used in a very wasteful manner, far too long for the job? Too much was wasted in other words!
@@csimpson7169 Zippers can usually have additional pulls added to them and still used. I always use a zipper that's bigger than the "need" just so I can keep the head & pull out of the way as it makes stitching on much easier. I just find it disappointing when people do thumbs down. I know how hard YT'ers work and what's involved in making videos...it's not easy.

I love this bag, thank you! I was wondering if there's a way to make this bag with one more compartment with zipper. So it would be like 2 zippers at the top for 2 different compartments. Also, as far as the front pocket, is there a way to make it 3D (like a small attached compartment to the front, with sides, and a zipper)? I have a crossbody bag like that and can't find one like it anywhere else. Thanks in advance!

Hello Minki Kim, I loved your bag so much I bought the pattern. I cut the panels following the pattern given in the instructions but the gussets and the pannels don't assemble the gussets are bigger and don't fit the panels, I am about to sew it together. please help. Sorry for the inconvinience.

Thank you for ordering my pattern.
Did you use foam stabilizer? If you used thinner batting it might not fit. I would test the fit and mark and then trim the gusset and re- assemble.

this video is old so i understand if this comment goes unseen, but what is binding exactly? Is that the same as interfacing? I want to try this pattern but don't have binding!
I usually cut my own binding by 1 1/2'' x width of fabric. You can use as same as lining fabric or contrasting fabric.

Cute bag. But I do not like the zipper section because there is no actual "pouch". It's just the lining which is only sewn in on the top section. Therefore anything you place in the zipper pouch can end up anywhere in the lining. Unfortunately, I made this bag before discovering this. I was going to add a lining to the zipper pouch but decided against it and followed your instructions. I added a different zipper pouch on the other side of the bag, which will work for small items. Not sure if I will use the other other zipper pouch...
I don't think you added the back panel to the front zip pouch they are separated
