From left to right so you can start getting to know them 🙂. Far left is Adam Chance, called “Chance” because there are 2 Adams. Chance is a baritone/ bass with a 4 octave range. He will sing baritone most of the time, but picks up the bass line when Tim sings lead. Check out “I Can’t Outrun You” to hear him featured. Next is Austin Brown the “screaming sky high” tenor. He is classically trained and can BELT IT. “Oh Holy Night” shows off some really nice high notes, but you will see him featured in a lot of the videos. Next is bass man Tim Foust. Tim has a 5 OCTAVE RANGE! and will use it! Check out his massive low notes in “Sold”, “Honey I’m good” and “Misty Mountains” (Peter Holland’s channel). After you have sufficiently admired his talent, add “Mayday” to your list. Next is the lovable teddy bear and wonderful lead tenor, Rob Lundquist. I loved your reaction. Home Free was actually doing shows in Hawaii a few weeks ago. The beatboxer of the group also sings and was singing the "It is well" part here. The bass has a 5-octave range and is a singer as well, not just a bass guy, but his bass is amazing too. They are a country based acapella group, but they are versatile and do some pop songs, and have a different unique feel to them, even sounding a little R&B, Jazzy, or Carribean in some of their songs. Just had the joy of watching you react to this powerful performance by Home Free. "How Great Thou Art" was my introduction to Home Free and am always rewatching their videos.
Melissa Otto did a great job of introducing you to each member of "Home Free". They call themselves a "Country Vocal Band". You didn't get to hear their vocal percussionist in this song - he is absolutely amazing. They won the fourth season of "The Sing-Off" on TV. Lil and I have seen them "live" four times and they put on a fantastic show. I suggest "Ring Of Fire" so you can hear Tim Foust sing some real bass notes. They are joined on the song by Avi Kaplan, former bass of Pentatonix. The two basses take turns until Tim hits the last low note. Also, for a bit of fun, watch "Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget".

This group actually has two basses, Tim the first to sing (with his five octave range) and (Adam) Chance their baritone, who can drop down and fill in the bass when Tim is singing lead... The one with the blonde pony tail wearing the green shirt, is Adam Rupp, their beat boxer. Adam Rupp is known for having a full drum kit in his mouth, his drum solo is something to check out. No beatboxing on this song, so he stepped up and sung the fifth part of the five part harmonies. Next thing you know you will be discovering Pentatonix, Voice Play and Voctave, all A Capella groups, all of which had their start from the show "The Sing Off" an A Capella competition show. Home Free have so many great songs, from their early days, there is the Hunter Hayes Medley, then Boyz II to Men's "End of the Road", All about that Bass, a fun take on the Meghan Trainor song, their Christmas Songs, gospels, and even their Butt's Medley, where you really get to see a great range of their talents with a mix of country, hip hop, rap and just plain silliness, all wrapped up in a fun video. While not exploiting a single woman, shaking her backside into the camera. They are just a great bunch of guys, with a great sense of humor. Even a recent video of theirs so needed in these times, a call to love and respect, Home Free Walkin this Land is something that everyone should see and hear. (Make sure you stay for the end message by Tim). A quick aside, 10 of the happiest days of my life was my time on Oahu and Da Big Island... They refer to themselves as a Country A Capella group, but they are so much more than that. They are phenominal doing any gospel tune, but they also do many other types of songs, too. They do a lot of covers, but they also have many originals, also. Some are of a very serious nature, some are totally hilarious. They were just in Hawaii, then went toTaiwan, and right now they are on tour in Europe for 32 days (their third tour there), and have sold out almost all of the venues. I just subscribed with hopes of seeing you do more of their videos in the near future.
I have, for many years, heard this song sung in many small church congregations. But when I first heard Home Free sing it the song really came to life. And I'm sure that the songwriter would be pleased with this recording. Also the Lord God must be well pleased. My reaction the first time I heard it was much the same as yours and I really enjoyed yours.
I haven't attended church in years, but something about you smiling and mouthing along the words to this beautiful song made me burst into tears. I've also just watched your reaction to So Hyang (another of my favorites for obvious reasons) sing "You Raise Me Up." I'm seeing "When You Believe" over in the suggestions column, so that one may be next. ;-) Regarding Home Free...you asked for suggestions. I see that a lot of people have given you video names (mostly with no links). Nobody introduced the group, though (that I saw, anyway), so I thought I'd run through the introductions from left to right, as they were standing for this video, then I have a few links for you after seeing what some of your other reactions have been. First of all, this video was produced in the Swiss Alps, when they were on tour in Austria a couple of years back, right after one of the founding members of the group went solo and the very new replacement started with the group (more about that in a minute). The camera work was all done by drone, and they were actually standing in that very spot. I loved your reaction. Home Free was actually doing shows in Hawaii a few weeks ago. The beatboxer of the group also sings and was singing the "It is well" part here. The bass has a 5-octave range and is a singer as well, not just a bass guy, but his bass is amazing too. They are a country based acapella group, but they are versatile and do some pop songs, and have a different unique feel to them, even sounding a little R&B, Jazzy, or Carribean in some of their songs. my introduction to Home Free and am always rewatching their videos.
Melissa Otto did a great job of introducing you to each member of "Home Free". They call themselves a "Country Vocal Band". You didn't get to hear their vocal percussionist in this song - he is absolutely amazing. They won the fourth season of "The Sing-Off" on TV. Lil and I have seen them "live" four times and they put on a fantastic show. I suggest "Ring Of Fire" so you can hear Tim Foust sing some real bass notes. They are joined on the song by Avi Kaplan, former bass of Pentatonix. The two basses take turns until Tim hits the last low note. Also, for a bit of fun, watch "Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget".

This group actually has two basses, Tim the first to sing (with his five octave range) and (Adam) Chance their baritone, who can drop down and fill in the bass when Tim is singing lead... The one with the blonde pony tail wearing the green shirt, is Adam Rupp, their beat boxer. Adam Rupp is known for having a full drum kit in his mouth, his drum solo is something to check out. No beatboxing on this song, so he stepped up and sung the fifth part of the five part harmonies. Next thing you know you will be discovering Pentatonix, Voice Play and Voctave, all A Capella groups, all of which had their start from the show "The Sing Off" an A Capella competition show. Home Free have so many great songs, from their early days, there is the Hunter Hayes Medley, then Boyz II to Men's "End of the Road", All about that Bass, a fun take on the Meghan Trainor song, their Christmas Songs, gospels, and even their Butt's Medley, where you really get to see a great range of their talents with a mix of country, hip hop, rap and just plain silliness, all wrapped up in a fun video. While not exploiting a single woman, shaking her backside into the camera. They are just a great bunch of guys, with a great sense of humor. Even a recent video of theirs so needed in these times, a call to love and respect, Home Free Walkin this Land is something that everyone should see and hear. (Make sure you stay for the end message by Tim). A quick aside, 10 of the happiest days of my life was my time on Oahu and Da Big Island... Loved your reaction. Thanks. Home Free is so amazing. I have been following them since they were on the 'Sing-Off and won, which they totally deserved. They refer to themselves as a Country A Capella group, but they are so much more than that. They are phenominal doing any gospel tune, but they also do many other types of songs, too. They do a lot of covers, but they also have many originals, also. Some are of a very serious nature, some are totally hilarious. They were just in Hawaii, then went toTaiwan, and right now they are on tour in Europe for 32 days (their third tour there), and have sold out almost all of the venues. I just subscribed with hopes of seeing you do more of their videos in the near future.

I have, for many years, heard this song sung in many small church congregations. But when I first heard Home Free sing it the song really came to life. And I'm sure that the songwriter would be pleased with this recording. Also the Lord God must be well pleased. This is my favourite new accapella group next to Pentatonix. This song is just an amazing song because it was my mothers favourite. She passed away in 2016 and I still miss her terribly everyday. Thank U Bruddah Sam for this reaction😙😙😙

Hi there! I'm yet another Home Fry who has now subscribed, and hit the bell; hoping for more and more Home Free reactions. I've also just watched your reaction to So Hyang (another of my favorites for obvious reasons) sing "You Raise Me Up." I loved that reaction, as well, and will be watching more of your videos as I can. I'm seeing "When You Believe" over in the suggestions column, so that one may be next. ;-)
Regarding Home Free...you asked for suggestions. I see that a lot of people have given you video names (mostly with no links). Nobody introduced the group, though (that I saw, anyway), so I thought I'd run through the introductions from left to right, as they were standing for this video, then I have a few links for you after seeing what some of your other reactions have been.
First of all, this video was produced in the Swiss Alps, when they were on tour in Austria a couple of years back, right after one of the founding members of the group went solo and the very new replacement started with the group (more about that in a minute). The camera work was all done by drone, and they were actually standing in that very spot.
This arrangement was done by Darren Rust, who heads up the studio that produces most of the Home Free music (audio and video). Darren himself is part of a group called The Blenders ( th-cam.com/channels/kWlmAs-3RET6gLSyda-lmg.html ). In the banner, Darren is the man on the left. Home Free has shared that when Darren does an arrangement for them, he sings every part and presents it to them as a finished product. They've said that they would LOVE to present one of those arrangements...that they don't EVEN need to sing it...just let Darren do it for them. I've heard one (I'm a patron for Chris Rupp, who is the one who now has his own channels that you might want to check out, and he published one of Darren's arrangements for him, only for patrons...AMAZING!).

Adam Rupp is Chris Rupp's brother. The two of them started Home Free 18 years ago, when they were studying music in college. Both men play several instruments (very well). Adam's main instrument is trumpet, but he also studied drums so that he could do the beatboxing the best possible way. If you ever get to see them live, you will LOVE his drum solo...I promise!!!
