The whole EP and the whole livestream performance of it is such a power move but I think THIS is my favorite of all the songs, mostly because you can just hear and see how Troye is taking the control back now. His flirting mixed with this no-more-bullshit attitude is endlessly powerful and inspiring and healing, like a rebirth. He's so confident and I'm here for it!

Because mine at one time, he nearly killed me by trying to push me off his car while it's still moving. He was very sorry after but i wasnt having it. Then he said if i leave him, he'll hurt himself & tell everyone I did it. I just went away almost running. I hid at my Aunts house because he didnt know the place. I wouldnt have him harass my mom if go to her. I got help from my Dad & brother to get my stuff from his place then served a restraining order up his a$$. Was single for quite a while after that. I was too afraid. For months i was looking behind me everytime i walk to & from work. Until i landed a job in another state & moved there. Because i cant be going walking in the same places we used to go to, thinking he might be there. I still think about him. I had nights wishing hes still holding me. I was still in love when i left. But ffuuuuucckkk!!

Just discovered this EP last week, and it’s the quintessential breakup/pandemic album. I feel like it should go in a time capsule for future generations who have no idea what that combination is like. (Along with his vlog about going back to Los Angeles to see Nash because the airport segments were post apocalyptic and surreal.)

YES EXACTLY THIS!!! The way he's aggressive, sexy and confident all at once is so liberating and obviously a turning point in the story he's telling with the EP. Such a vital moment. He told he loves this song in particular and wanted to put full focus on it, do a vid and the extra promotion that comes with it. But covid made it impossible and I felt bad for him and us for that. It just makes the feeling even more thrilling and satisfying now that he's shared the energy and extra layer of power with this performance. Still think the songs deserves a music vid though and hope he will do one as soon as he can. Also so true what you say about Taylor and Troye adding this brick!!
