Great question. I should have talked about Marshal Grouchy. Actually he followed the Prussians to Wavre and there he fought with the Prussian rear guard. While this was happening Bluchar with 72,000 soldier’s left from Wavre to support Wellington. So he he couldn’t make it to the battle thought he won at Wavre.

If they had started the battle early Napoleon would have got more time to fight wellington. In the evening Napoleon had to fight Wellington’s and Blucher’s army together.
