This song goes OFF at the perfect time(I played the whole game), you’re so determined when this banger comes on bc it’s the culmination of your journey, seeing the story through everyone’s perspective and this song comes on as you finally get ready to finish things and find out the true ending to the story. Such an amazing soundtrack
Listening to this brings me back to that spiral staircase tower. I really felt that the fate of the world is at stake, then my grandma yelled at me to eat dinner. The good old days🥲
This theme is truly special with how majestic and holy it sounds. I love the choir popping in and out at certain points, and the violin and guitar sound great. Another godlike Ys opening.
I'm pretty sure I have never heard this particular track before today. But when it came up in Ymfah's most recent video (Pacifist Bloodborne), I immediately thought it sounds like something from Falcom. So, I checked the playlist, and there it was: a track from Ys, and it's exactly the one. I know jack-shit about music, so it's honestly incredible that I could recognise it. Goes to show how memorable Jindo's style is, I suppose
I heard it ymfah’s video then weeks later I bought Ys origin and I thought “hmmm this sounds familiar” then it hit me and now I’m just jammin. It’s a good time
As someone who only played Trails games from Falcom, it was kinda amazing to instantly recognize the Jindo Style in this Soundtrack. Ys Origin is my first Ys Game and I'm not sure if I want to play through the whole series but it will definitely be something I'll consider to do, if only for the Soundtrack.
@@dsjgfxxkhrx4050 story-wise, I would divide the quality for all three characters. Yunica's was the least entertaining, Hugo's was okay'ish and Toal's was a bit entertaining. I heard, that his is also the Canon one. One thing I should mention is that I finished Ys I a few days ago and will soon start Ys II, so I get, why Toal's seems Canon. Considering the events of Ys I, I do enjoy the story a bit more but it's still a mediocre Story. Now to the music: Oh Boi, it was the first time I demanded a good OST and I have to say, Ys Origin definitely has a great OST. Why should I expect less from Jindo and Co. Gameplay Never thought I would get so addicted to hack'n slash elements that much. I really loved it and the bosses were also quite good. I really had to find the best moments to attack and evade the enemy. It kinda felt like fighting a boss in Hollow Knight. I think this game is only for people who like this kind of Gameplay and know what they are getting into. Before I startet Ys Origin I already read that I should not expect a Trails-like Story but a Series that has its Gameplay as its selling-point. So, all in all, I give this game for my preferences a 7/10 but that doesn't mean that it's bad. It means, it is an enjoyable game if you are into this kind of games.
@@SomeoneSmol should've clarified that I only was interested in hearing your opinion since I played all the other ys games except for 6 and 9 (heh) I'm currently in mid 8 I'm actually surprised you didn't like the story too much it's third best this series has to offer the first being 8 anyways the story of these games aren't as good as trails but they are interconnected just like trails so I recommend playing in story order to make the story more bearable
@@dsjgfxxkhrx4050 makes sense. Note: it's not that I don't like the story, it's more like: for one game, it could have been more. But I guess it would be more interesting to play Ys Origin after finishing both Ys I and II. But honestly, even after playing through all three stories, I could easily play one or two stories again, since the battle-mechanic is so addictive
@@SomeoneSmol "I could easily play one or two stories again, since the battle-mechanic is so addictive" Good thing Ark of Napishtim and Oath in Felghana exist then. Try Origin. I played 8 first, figured 9 would be more of the same (which is what I wanted) and then I didn't know which ones to play. Tried the demo of Origin and I enjoyed it enough to go "0K I'll play this one" but I still wasn't sure if I'd love it like the other 2. @@Walamonga1313 The only Ys Games I haven't yet played are Memories of Celceta (the Ys IV remake) and, of course, Ys V (as that was not done by Falcom and hasn't been localized and likely won't). This series has always been a sleeper hit in Western markets due to it not being a big name franchise and the popularity spreading via word of mouth. At the same time, Falcom has made it a point to create solid games and not reinvent the wheel on every game. Aside from modernizing the play since Memories of Celceta to make it more like current games, Falcom has a formula that works and doesn't really see the need to stray from it. And even the modernization was more to make it more easily received and playable by modern audiences.
The soundtrack when your feeling like you just want to poison enemies by just rolling around them, or you dont know how to escape Helgen by not walking or just being nogla.

One of the greatest Falcom openings ever. The Takeshita Jindo combo is simply unmatched.

Pure epicness. No other word to it.

One of my top 5 moment in video games, when this music kicks in with the the rage you get from the story, awesome sauce !!!
