I love the song
There are many reasons why Asanda should be our entrant.
1. It is an upbeat song that would probably be a hit if someone with an established career released it. Eurovision is quite a fun event and ballads don't do as well so it is important to have a song that you can dance to.
2. Asanda is very young. I think she is aged around 15-17. This will definitely get votes from people as she will be one of the youngest contestants people care about the needs of children more than that of adults.
3. Asanda is the most high-profile of the 6 contestants having reached the Britains Got Talent final at the age of 10 or 11. Many Europeans watch BGT videos on TH-cam etc. so she is likely to have many fans (if not already) once they see all her material online.
4. During BGT, Asanda was commended for having such good stage presence for her age. Now that her voice has matured she will also have better vocals than when she was on BGT. In addition, she has the look of a star and with her ability to work the stage can put on a PERFORMANCE.
I hope these reasons highlight why Asanda is the right choice as our entrant for this years Eurovision Song Contest. Her representing us is what is best for our country's hopes of a high place finish!
Vithun Illankovan She is a very confident girl, that's for sure. To perform a Beyonce song with so much attitude at the age of 11, on a national TV show, is really amazing!

Imagine this starts off with yellow light going off on stage and just Asanda singing on the stage with just a few movements and then the dancers come on for the chorus, and they do al little routine (nothing much just a few moves) for the second chorus she can really focus on getting the crowd going like she’d be walking around the stage dancing and singing, for the bridge of the song everything could go quiet on stage with just Asanda moving on stage. then with all the lights there could be them fire light things from the ceiling as well and she could be dancing and singing

I agree, but she is still so young, I think only about 16/17 so it'll be interesting to see how well she performs the song live, not just vocally but also her stage presence and how she uses the stage etc

John Edwards fun songs have been proven to be successful, look at the Sunstroke project last year. This is nothing like 2002, 2005,2006,2007,2008,2010,2015. It’s an entirely different ball game. This has class and it’s modern.
Just watched her BGT performances which were great for someone so young, and it's so impressive to see how well she has progressed. Really hope she is chosen to represent us at Eurovision.
