Unity is by far the best game they've made in terms of effort they put in, engine was perfect, graphics and design were top tier, story was good IMO but most will say it was mediocre, it also had the best multiplayer, one that actually fit the franchise and was fun. Customization was top tier etc. In terms of the trailer, it was also the best trailer because it showed what assassins creed truly represented, basically freedom fighters for the people - most of the other trailers don't show that they just show the personal journeys.
Regarding the finger, they used to cut the finger off until like 300 years later (when ACII takes place after the first) for the blade to come out, then in ACII da Vinci makes an improved blade that doesn't need a finger cut off, he trolls Ezio though and almost has him cut it off 😂
Revelations trailer was also beautiful, that game as a whole was a masterpiece and the ending always made me cry.
Overall, their song choices are always so perfect and fitting for each trailer. The cinematic makers are goated for AC.
Da vinci didn't fix it, Altair fixed it in the codex and Leonardo just took the design from the cidex

All the characters are different persons from different timelines
Except for AC 2, AC brotherhood and AC revelations. This is a trilogy about a character named Ezio Auditore.

AC2 - Young Ezio (in his 20s) was always a bit cocky and had a flourish to his fighting style. If he didn't have to stay hidden he would fight people out in the open.
Brotherhood - (Ezio in his 30s) was hunting Rodrigo Borgia who was named Pope Alexander VI in the 1500s, his son Cesare Borgia was head of the Papal Guard. It was so cool, you could hit a button and an assassin would drop down form the roof tops, or spring from behind a corner and take out whatever target you were looking at. The more you built up the brotherhood the more often you could call them and the better they fought.
Revelations - Ezio is in his 40s and earned the rank of Master Assassin within the Brotherhood, his sister Claudia runs the brotherhood in Rome now. He is on a hunt to search for the lost library and tomb of Altair from the 1st AC game which takes you through Constantinople and Arab Masyaf.
AC3 - The general standing at the end was George Washington, and that was the battle of Bunker Hill where the french fleet showed up by sea and helped us destroy the British during the Revolutionary War. Conner the assassin played by his own rules and threw out the rules of engagement that both the British and the Colonies fought by to keep things 'fair'. Instead he rushed the line and assassinated the British Commander Sir. Thomas Gage.
Liberation - Officially there wasn't any cinematic trailer made for it. That was the game play commercial and originally it was made for a handheld PS Vita (?) They since then updated it and you can play it on PC too. It is a real good game featuring Aveline de Grandpré with a great story.
Freedom Cry - is a large DLC for Black Flag featuring Adewale who plays as your first mate in Black Flag. IF you play it I highly recommend doing it AFTER Black Flag so the story line makes sense.
Small nitpick: ac2 Ezio was 17-40, brotherhood he was 40-47, revelations 52-54

AC3, BlackFlag, and Syndicate are by far the Most fun. FUN fact Blackflag the guy Edward Kenway was actually just a normal pirate who ended up killing an assassin and taking his gear it isnt till later on he learns about that culture and becomes an Assassin the story is fantastic

I think this depends on when you played them. For someone that played them since the beginning Assassin's Creed took a downturn after Brotherhood and I've not really liked any of them afterwards. If you started at 3 then you will probably like those three you said. Personally Brotherhood is my absolute favourite, hard to beat ancient Rome as a setting. Perfect for climbing and hiding.
@@Mrsuperdestroyer i started during ac1 and loved it(not including liberation and freedom cry as i didnt have them or know bout them at the time of like idk 12) up till unity loved the series it made me fall in love with stealth, but couldnt get behind syndicate(tho tried it later on and still couldnt bc of the combat), played origins and just hated the grind tho i made it passed getting the blade, besides that i havent played odyssey as the rpg takeover killed me and stealth became non existent basically and Valhalla i played like 3 hrs and thats all i could stand hopefully mirage takes it back to old school, dont have alot of games that were like old AC, splinter cell(tho ill get hate, blacklist), and the stealth in batman games and as im on pc spiderman and miles Morales stealth

Assassins creed rogue is based on a former assassin that saw what the colonial assassins were doing was bad and he wanted to make things right so he betrayed them and the Templar saw good in him so he became a Templar
I like how you said the bird was giving ezio (the assassin in the ac 2 trailer) giving him callouts, when you don't get that until the rpg games later in ther series. Also, he shot the guy with a hidden gun lol, it's unrealistic yes. but there is a explanation as to why he even has something like that.

So about the missing finger, it basically was an old tradition. You’d cut off your ring finger as a sacrifice to show dedication to the creed and hidden blade. Up until AC2 the blade gets reconfigured to where the finger wasn’t needed anymore.

Famous Faces/People are George Washington,Benjamin Franklin,Thomas Jefferson,John Adams, Samuel Adams, 10 other 15 famous people in this game. But you have kill your father and his crew who were Assassin turned Templar Connors father. Haytham Kenway
6.) AC:4/Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag= Edward Kenway Connor's Grandfather. Year:1732 17th Century Pirate Era Across The Vast Seas of Pacific, Atlantic,Eastern,4 Others. He goes kill each except one assassin survives an African American Assassin named Achilles. Who trained him and later Connor Kenway Edward Grandson and Edwards Son Haytham Kenway.
8.) AC Unity= Arno Dorian Frenchman Assassin vs French Templars. Year:1789 18th Century of French Revolutionary War & French-Indian 2nd War. I think Idk. But his friend/girlfriend who is a Templar. In City Around Paris. France. Versailles and others. French Assassin Brotherhood vs French Templars. Arno father gets killed and him an orphan until he gets framed for some other crime he didn't commit. But get saved from being executed by the Famous killing mechanism technology called the "Guillotine" an contraption device that chops/lobs off the head from the body. Arno becomes an Assassin joins his Brotherhood. In the cause to unite his country.
9.) AC Syndicate= Twins Male/Female: Jacob & Evie Frye Year:1868 18th Century London UK in the height of the Industrial Revolution/2nd Industrial Colonial Era.
British Assassin Brotherhood vs British Empire Christianity Catholic Templars. You can either brother or sister of the assassin. To find clues where Edward Kenway has left certain details in his mansion about the country of the UK city of London that is in the state of crisis that it is in now. Famous Person Evil Maniacal "Jack The Ripper" Killer who stalk the city at night and sometimes day praying on the weak and women around the city of London. Jack who was an Assassin as well but went insane and starts to kill for fun/hunt his prey as he calls it. (I think he were in an insane asylum).
10.) AC Origins= Bayek of Siwa. In Ancient Egypt. Famous Faces/People are Cleopatra and Her rise to rule over Egypt. Then Roman Emperor Julius Caesar and His rise to rule over Rome, other characters as well just don't know their names really. Year:49-50 B.C.E. .

Also, Black Flag takes place almost exclusively in The West Indies in The Atlantic and a brief part in Africa. Unless you count the Kenway's Fleet mini game. It takes place around 1717-1720's. You fight the Spanish and the British and even the Portuguese.

A shame that with Revelations you watched a trailer that is actually a narration at the start of the game. The actual trailer has the dopest song Woodkid-Iron that just goes so well with Ezio carving through the Byzantines and seeing flashes of Altaïr, the Master Assassin from the first game. Also Black Flag is a teaser trailer and not the official E3 trailer which in my opinion is way better. Edward and Adewale pulling off a heist and fighting it out on ships with an opposing Captain.

during the inception of the brotherhood the assassins had to sever their finger at the second knuckle (or the first if you're counting from the hand) as the hidden blade would have done so anyway, but Altiar had improved the design so that sacrifice was no longer necessary.

in the first ac game that little sword name is a hidden blade and the person is the legendary altair he had 2 hidden blades and it was only given for master assassins he was a master assassin at the age of 25 and that is the youngest master assassins and he is born into the creed so the assassins
