Firstly I love your videos and teaching style just brilliant. I've got long covid and decided to do your Lady Vagabond Life Styles album. Following along with your tutorial. Got the cover done and decorated. Then P1 and realised I'd measured it an inch shorter all round!! Needless to say I've had to dismantle the cover but managed to saver the paper PHEW!! Round 2 today if I feel upto it. Thanks for everything you do. 😍
I used your tutorial with another paper pack (with Birds and Butterflies) and ended up making 2 folios (Gifts for Easter/Mother's Day)! The style is really flexible and I ended up using my scrap black cardstock for flips and pocket tweaks - I also had a happy accident and cut my paper too narrow so I put in a side pocket and it worked out. There is quite a bit of room in it also, so it doesn't feel crammed before you even get the photo mats and photos in. Love it! Thank you for the tutorial. (BTW - we are in the same boat as you - our hot water heater burst wrecking our floors, so we are in the midst of packing the house up for renovations)

Thank you Aud. When designing folios, I find it a bit challenging because you have to figure out spacing for all the inner flips and any pages you add. First step would be figure out what your finished size (when folio is closed) you want. Figure out what size spine (for left and right when folio closed) you want. From there, seam together some cardstock and get your scoring board out and just play around with scoring. Make some inner pages to adhere inside on those spines, etc. For me, folios that fold in on themselves are harder to design than a normal mini album. Wishing you fantastic Easter as well. My black cardstock sheet is about 28" long, so that I don't need to tape 2 (8 1/4x12") pieces together. Am I right when Icut a piece of 23 7/8" in 1 piece? Thank you so much!😘🌷

For the "Princess"-Album I cut 2 pieces from 1 very large and glued together again...☺I am a Quilter, so I'm used to cut pieces and sew them together again,hahaha,even when people find that strange...😵💫 and when I also use my Patchwork rulers for paper crafting! Creative people sometimes do funny things! I love your videos, please never stop!😘

You’ll want your piece cut down to 23-3/4. When I use two 12 x12 sheets, I lose 1/4” from overlapping.
