You may not be an "expert" but that's probably why your description is so clear and concise Congratulations!!!
Good job Mark.
You pass through is called a bulkhead cable gland for those that wish to purchase
Thanks mate. Links are in the description too 🤙
Haven’t posted in a while mate hoping you and the family are all good!
Hi mate! I’m good thanks. Life has been busy but I have a new video coming out in the next few days. Thank you for your concern. I hope you are well too
@@NorthOz looking forward to it! All the best mate
Any plans for a suspension upgrade and wheels/tyres? It’s sort of refreshing to see one not lifted 6 inches with 37s haha
I plan on adding additional leafs to the existing pack to help with the load on the back. Will keep the stock wheels and might get new ones in the future. I actually like the stock height and the 33’s look good but will opt for a wider tyre after these get worn out. The fuel economy on these are so good too!
There is a black smith in cairns can add extra leaf,. I was thinking to change to 285 tyre, but need add flair kit, not sure I am manage to do it myself so I stay on standard size new tyre instead.
@@szejim1757 nice. Do you know the name of the blacksmith? If not, I’ll do some googling 👍
@@NorthOz spring and black smithing bungalow.
A really great video. Full of useful information and tips. That's a good, solid 12V setup. It's missing good battery monitoring as you say, but I'm looking forward to the solution you come up with. Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks mate. I was a bit nervous about starting this project but I’m happy I gave it a crack. Stay tuned for the battery management. I have some figuring out to do for that 👍 I appreciate the kind words too
Haven’t seen a lot of content for a while keep it coming
Thanks Peter. I’ve been trying to do fewer videos to focus a bit more on quality as opposed making a video for the sake of making one. Let me know what you think as time goes on 👍
I ran my solar blanket cable and mounted behind cab guard on the outside 👍
It’s a good idea. I figured out I can shut my canopy with the cable in it due to the seals. I won’t run the blanket unless I’m near it as well so I don’t mind leaving everything open anyway 🤙 Good idea. I might run an Anderson to the outside later
Thanks for sharing well done good job
I appreciate the comment mate 🙏 Thank you for watching
Hey where the Rogue? great job, keep up the good work
Thanks legend! I sold the rogue last year so I could start fresh with something new 👍
Hey mate, the pass through are called cable glands
I can never remember the name. Thanks mate. I’ll get it right one day 😅
I wouldn't worry about it too much mate, if you don't use them all the time it is not important.
Great vid mate.
@@Jason-cx1gi 🙏
13:12 That's the exact number of hands required to run automotive wires!
😂 I was all good until night time… and then had to run the wires into the canopy and found out quickly I needed help. Luckily, Dad was there to save the day 👍
I would strongly mention to people how important it is to use flexible conduit over all cables
In a follow up video I’ll make some tips and tricks to help others with their setup. I’ll add this to the list 👍
