Yeah agree. I'm a long time FNC fan and I kinda doubted that they would even make playoffs. They actually did and everything after that was just a bonus like I'm sure the fans thought that we would just get dicked by Rogue and casually 3-0d them. They also managed to beat G2 in a bo5 and the first 2 games of the finals were hard fought losses.
Maybe the lack of professionalism from that hecharim dive? also how they cannot seem to get pass the fact that they respect G2 way to much i my opinion which affect their playstyle against them

If you have a trash jgl,even if you are good on lane you can solo carry....in so many games Caps solo carried his team even if jankos was playing bad....in fnatic this didnt happen I just saw selfmade carrying with assasins and other champs but when he was not playing that good there wasnt a mid laner to solo carry. In my opinion mid and jgl duo is the most important thing but Mid CAN have more impact than a jgl and Caps is proving it.

Nemesis called the leblanc priority and roam several times 👍. Shame we didn't back off there, certainly not nemesis fault as some delusional analysts tried to say. Overall they seemed to be having fun and communicating well I like it 👍

I've never have been a fan of FNC, but I liked their attitude a lot actually this series. Bwipo calling out when he misplayed and Selfmade laughing at his oopsies , this shows they're mentally strong and have a huge room for improvement. Good luck at Worlds, I hope you have a similar run as you guys had in 2018.

I mean the mindset of "let's grief but win", is the G2 mentality in a nutshell, they go for all the risky plays everytime. The good thing is Teams are catching up and adapt to it, Madlions early springsplit playstyle felt extremly similar to last season G2s and I think once fnc claims this mentality for themself even more it will loosen up the preasure for playing on stage/worlds etc. to cite G2: "beeing 2 games behind is our comfort zone." But really dont let it tear appart the team, this form of fnc is one if not the best it ever was. This series showed so much growth from team compared to a month ago! I think they played well and if they keep improving like this they're gonna do great.
Fnc looked full of energy. Those first 2 games were really close, should have won both of them. They outscaled in the first game but got caught, 2nd game was in their hands majority of the game. Shit happens guys but lots of positives. Im happy to see strong EU teams representing.
game one wasnt close. game one was like... defeat for 30 minutes then g2 started to troll. game 2 was hylissang splitpushing bot while they finish. game 3 was hyli on bard with those glorious ults we know him for.
Bwipo, Hyli and Selfmade are having fun in these games. Nemesis does what he can to keep up. I am really worried about Rekkles. Maybe it's just me, but he really seemed off in this series. He barely speaks, he barely gets involved in what his teammates want to do. I mean, I would expect the player with the most experience and the oldest member of Fnatic, to be a team captain. That's how teams usually work. It seems that he just doesn't care or accepts the situation that he is in, and lets the 3 madmen do their thing. To be fair, I prefer the more aggressive play style of those 3. Too bad that Nemesis and Rekkles are one step behind, and are always late.
Well, Rekkles is always the most quiet one in the team. In few matches, when Bwipo and Hyli went like GOGOGO WE CAN WIN THIS, he didnt say back and didnt join them also. Its like when you play soloQ, see inters and decide "fck it, let them die".
I agree. Love them all but I feel like Rekkles needs to either be more aggresive and follow-up Hyli and Bwipo’s calls or he should take the captain role seriously and start telling them all off when they go over the top aggro. No hate tho, hope they do bits in Worlds!

the saddest thing is, they always have the better scaling draft. so if you take that into consideration, they need not to rush anything. So the call to be passive is not entirely wrong. The overagression, on the other hand, is when you have a pretty weak early game

I've never have been a fan of FNC, but I liked their attitude a lot actually this series.
Bwipo calling out when he misplayed and Selfmade laughing at his oopsies , this shows they're mentally strong and have a huge room for improvement.

I was pretty sad about this loss because of how it turned out, but if the team members do not mind the loss and take it as a learning experience instead, then I won't really worry about their performance in worlds! GO FNCC
I dont care that they lost this... after losing the first game you already knew this will be a 3-0. The most important thing for this squad is that they stopped doubting each other. Actually enjoying their gameplan and being on the same page is way more important heading into Worlds. #AlwaysFnatic
But none of these games felt like we are losing hard or something I think that Fnatic can reach Semi finals or something like that on Worlds, and G2 is playing incredibly good and I think that they will win worlds this season. Gl both.

that's because LEC got better in general and for me while MAD can reach quarter finals , both rogue and fnatic can reach semi and g2 can reach finals . Let's be real , this year it's all about G2 , TES , JDG and DWG

actually the thought process of champions: "let's grief this one too but win". too bad his team was more focused on not making mistakes rather than playing solely from instinct. i dont think they realize how powerful that mindset is of: "lets grief this one too but win". it makes you play more freely without worry.
I mean the mindset of "let's grief but win", is the G2 mentality in a nutshell, they go for all the risky plays everytime. The good thing is Teams are catching up and adapt to it, Madlions early springsplit playstyle felt extremly similar to last season G2s and I think once fnc claims this mentality for themself even more it will loosen up the preasure for playing on stage/worlds etc.

That mindset is how you'd describe the playstyle of 5 random people in solo Queue, I don't think that would have helped that much...
@@nanomoltoalto1589 it lets you do crazy plays. or plays which are not fully calculated. you cant go for only calculated basic plays against world class top teams. you need to have the aggressive/risk playmaking factor to win against them. and g2 is a top team. playing safe won't work against top korean/chinese.

Nem guys it really was the closest 3/0 ever, if some little things play out differently u could have win it all. But really dont let it tear appart the team, this form of fnc is one if not the best it ever was. U guys are still word class players, the negative voices doesn't matters, "just stay tru to ur self and play ur own style" remember? Some wise words from a wise man. And even though g2 took the lead with 8 trophies it doesn't mean that they won the race, worlds is a great opportunity to even up the score so I wish the best and lets just hope that we can get some cool looking fnc skins next springs.

Like the casters said "the 3-0 really doesn't make justice to what the games were". There was a chance of turning around the first, the second was so close and honestly with some fixes it was an easy win, and the third was business as usual. G2 played this one insanely well. Had they met any team but FNC here they would have lost.

this gives a lot of insight, like g1 comms were clean i guess shame that selfamde died but it looked doomed i guess. g2 we missed the comms on the deaths on mid and g3 bwipo tp was kinda missed because they pulled off the drake while bwipo died

Fnc looked full of energy. Those first 2 games were really close, should have won both of them. They outscaled in the first game but got caught, 2nd game was in their hands majority of the game. Shit happens guys but lots of positives. Im happy to see strong EU teams representing.
game one wasnt close. game one was like... defeat for 30 minutes then g2 started to troll. game 2 was hylissang splitpushing bot while they finish. game 3 was hyli on bard with those glorious ults we know him for.
Honestly expected selfmade was like dardoch(toxic player) but he is so chill/troll that hecarim engage was so funny, im a fan of selfmade now.

Bwipo, Hyli and Selfmade are having fun in these games. Nemesis does what he can to keep up. I am really worried about Rekkles.
Maybe it's just me, but he really seemed off in this series. He barely speaks, he barely gets involved in what his teammates want to do. I mean, I would expect the player with the most experience and the oldest member of Fnatic, to be a team captain. That's how teams usually work. It seems that he just doesn't care or accepts the situation that he is in, and lets the 3 madmen do their thing.
To be fair, I prefer the more aggressive play style of those 3. Too bad that Nemesis and Rekkles are one step behind, and are always late.
Well, Rekkles is always the most quiet one in the team. In few matches, when Bwipo and Hyli went like GOGOGO WE CAN WIN THIS, he didnt say back and didnt join them also. Its like when you play soloQ, see inters and decide "fck it, let them die".
I agree. Love them all but I feel like Rekkles needs to either be more aggresive and follow-up Hyli and Bwipo’s calls or he should take the captain role seriously and start telling them all off when they go over the top aggro. No hate tho, hope they do bits in Worlds!
@@kszd6611 I know, but it seems that he is extremely passive lately. Remember in the semis against G2, he actually afk farmed on Jhin for the entire second game if I'm not mistaken. He had 0% kill participation.

the saddest thing is, they always have the better scaling draft. so if you take that into consideration, they need not to rush anything. So the call to be passive is not entirely wrong. The overagression, on the other hand, is when you have a pretty weak early game
