@Patashu Yeah, it did that a lot during the solo. What I got was that for the most of the solo, each bar started with 2 8th notes, and then it did subdivisions of three 16ths/32nds/64ths until the end of the bar, but keeping the 7/4 time signature.
@CyclopsDragon Well the thing is, the bass drum on this is completely complex compared to that one where it's speed is either going full out, then 1/4 of that full out, and 1/2. But what got me was the constant blasting needed on that chart in some parts that it would be hard to keep up with the bass drum, if you could go that fast. Oh well, both are pretty fun to watch.
@Doneyear Well, that's harder in bass pedal, but this is harder on the pads. That has more general NPS, but this has faster NPS bursts. It's difficult to say what's harder than what if they're difficult in completely different ways.
Only the Jesus of Rock Band can pass this... and that would be a bot XD Dude, I can't stress enough how incredibly accurate this chart is, especially for the fact that half of these notes are impossible to distinguish at full speed. You did an amazing job here :)
@Nofatchicks99 Well, obviously you're not listening closely enough. I DID NOT CHART THAT. I charted the wood block rolls in the background. Download the song and slow it down to half. You'll hear them if you listen closely enough. If you don't hear them, I can't help you there.
Some of the notes are so close together during the drum solo that the note breaking animation on the strike line turns into a beautiful nuclear explosion. o.O Jesus.
@NfskMjmMal2 Actually, I'd say 12.5% makes the FC very possible (you have to remember that the roll is about the same amount of notes as the roll in The Camera Eye, maybe more). Around 20% would probably be the passing point.
@therocker33dc You need an XNA Premium Membership and Magma (the computer program). You open the file in Magma and then you can audition it through there by linking to your console.
@CyclopsDragon i am very well aware of that looking at the title of the clip:) srry for not mentioning but i meant if there was a guitar version around that would be impossible to ace that. same goes for the drum. i doubt even a professional drummer could do this completely
@AskariNari Well, I know where you're coming from, but technically, everything charted could be considered percussive; it just gets so fast that it's difficult to tell.
I would love to see you chart animations for this. Just map it as a tom hit if it's not clearly a cymbal, and as a cymbal if it clearly is. I just want to see what that'd look like.
@azuritereaction Will you announce it? If only I do it, no one will participate, considering how few subs I have. Let's say... the contest will go from 4 weeks after you upload the video. I'll decide on the prizes later.
Wow. Sometimes there's almost no transparency in the spark which indicates the note was hot. 3:44 looks like a black hole (even though it's white) is emerging to absorb the screen.
You just re-linked this video. And if you're talking about the one that says "I FINISHED WITH 4X, DOES THAT MEAN I FCD IT", that's a joke video by the person who recorded this for me.
@5ur3f1r3 just because i said that the chart sucks ass doesn't mean that i also said im good at charting rock band songs. What you just said is like saying that the judges on American Idol are the best singers in the world, or the judges on America's got talent are the most talented people in the world, etc. Just look at 0:13 there's only the sound of one tom but yet he charted about 9 or 10 yellow notes then the one tom
@hudline65 Some of this stuff is so fast, you'd need to swing both sticks at a single pad 60 times in a second. You need more than 5 players to beat this.
You should have a contest to see who can get the farthest into this song, and who ever wins get... I dunno. A pick for the next song you do (if you do).
I like how the drummer in game is just sitting there and nodding his head as if to say 'Yeah, I'm not touching this shit.'
ikr
It's a girl
his head is gonna explode
... his?
def love the 120nps because the effect it gives of when you hit them is just awesome
Hahaha look at the in-game character girl on the drums, she's like, "I'm not even going to try this." She's just sitting there bobbing her head :)
I think my mind melted with the sheer awesomeness of this song and chart.
Holy hell, if the 120nps roll at 3:42 lasted longer, it would have created a black hole. You can practically see it starting to form if pausing at it!
i love how the audience at the beginning very mellow part are clapping super fast, you can tell how fast the song will get.
Mr. Game and Watch finds his natural talent for music.
I FCed this with my left eyelash.
Good boy
everything was so calm and playable...then shit hit the fan
@Patashu Yeah, it did that a lot during the solo. What I got was that for the most of the solo, each bar started with 2 8th notes, and then it did subdivisions of three 16ths/32nds/64ths until the end of the bar, but keeping the 7/4 time signature.
I FC'd this!!!!!!! jk when is underchart tho
Haven't had motivation to do one. I might look at doing it later.
ty, I miss you :^(
***** thanks
I love Venetian Snares. Entertaining watching insane customs of the songs. :P
The 120 Notes per Second rolls are so close together it just seems like 1 huge note lol
But seriously, that is mad.
@VioladorDeFlaggers
If you misunderstood, the song itself is playing THIS chart on the game's drumset. It's obviously an artificial drum track ._.
Venetian snares is not a group, it's one guy
@CyclopsDragon Well the thing is, the bass drum on this is completely complex compared to that one where it's speed is either going full out, then 1/4 of that full out, and 1/2. But what got me was the constant blasting needed on that chart in some parts that it would be hard to keep up with the bass drum, if you could go that fast. Oh well, both are pretty fun to watch.

LOOOOL at the animated drummer just spazzing out
The whole band stands there like “yeah FUCK that.”
Well I've had 342 seizures during this video. But that was awesome to watch anyways, and now I am going to listen to that song over and over again.
I'm sorry, I forgot that music taste was objective. Please continue to listen to your dubstep and leave the good music for the rest of us.
Wait I thought this was dubstep?
Nice meme
@pwnmasteh I don't know about others, but I charted this because I enjoyed doing so, and I would enjoy watching people play it.
Only the Jesus of Rock Band can pass this... and that would be a bot XD Dude, I can't stress enough how incredibly accurate this chart is, especially for the fact that half of these notes are impossible to distinguish at full speed. You did an amazing job here :)
i heard the jesus of rock band was also the drummer for the band 1.O.M., hopefully i’ll get to talk to them eventually
@@beud497 bruh
@DrumsMasterX43 4206, IIRC. That was the note total when I put it into FoFiX.
look at all the pretty colors!!
this is my favorite thing today.
Autoplay deserves a cookie for enduring this madness :D
@xxTreTrexx It's not a catastrophe, it's Venetian Snares.
@Nofatchicks99 Well, obviously you're not listening closely enough. I DID NOT CHART THAT. I charted the wood block rolls in the background. Download the song and slow it down to half. You'll hear them if you listen closely enough. If you don't hear them, I can't help you there.

The opinion of a single, faceless stranger. I shall hold it in the highest of regards.
3:43 That roll always makes me giggle with WTFness.
im still watching it , my ears are bleeding but i want to see the solo bonus
i wanna see someone do a drum cover of this....
I think that breakcore it just impossible to cover on this game, because this game don't show all notes from the midi drums.
@Xtreme2252 Nah, I know what you mean, but if you listen very carefully, there are little wood blocks there. It's easier if you slow it down.
@Shredder2393SH I'm actually thinking of holding a three-part contest: High score, farthest in, and highest % on solo.
@therocker33dc I didn't record this, so I have no idea. You'd be better off asking someone who actually owns a 360.
@SpikroddNG Sorry, I'm most likely done with lolwut charts, but if I go back to them, I'll consider that one.
has anyone every noticed the really bright notes when played make the chart look really cool where they are played
@Gr1zz3m The point of the chart was for it to be as hard as possible, so yes, they were necessary.
@NfskMjmMal2 Actually, I'd say 12.5% makes the FC very possible (you have to remember that the roll is about the same amount of notes as the roll in The Camera Eye, maybe more). Around 20% would probably be the passing point.
@xXLilKamKamXx Yes... it's called Audition Mode...
@MPNFlyShow 4206. And FYI, it is undercharted.
@therocker33dc You need an XNA Premium Membership and Magma (the computer program). You open the file in Magma and then you can audition it through there by linking to your console.
@Guitarman1875 There's an FAQ in the top right corner, but it's 120.
@xXLilKamKamXx No idea, sorry. I didn't record this.
it actually is undercharted, because in the beginning with these weird percussion-esque things there are a few hits which aren't charted ;)
@CyclopsDragon i am very well aware of that looking at the title of the clip:)
srry for not mentioning but i meant if there was a guitar version around
that would be impossible to ace that. same goes for the drum.
i doubt even a professional drummer could do this completely
At 4:51 during the break at 85% Solo, sounds like you even get a Mario Mushroom to help you through the rest.
@ramza89SH This is the 128th version.
@Zovistograt Thanks, I appreciate it :D
Look at that, Dora's arms are moving so fast that is doesnt even look like they are moving at all :D
@Gr1zz3m Well, yeah, the charting program that I use can slow things down halfway while charting, but I also used Audacity to go down to 8x slower.
3:44 = Pretty colors and explosion of white!!!! :D
I like the part with the notes.
@AskariNari Well, I know where you're coming from, but technically, everything charted could be considered percussive; it just gets so fast that it's difficult to tell.
@HEFMEN I only did this because I had nothing better to do at the time. 'Nuff said.
@pitt5truct0r AFAIK, it's not sped up.
I would love to see you chart animations for this. Just map it as a tom hit if it's not clearly a cymbal, and as a cymbal if it clearly is. I just want to see what that'd look like.
OH MY GOD REALLY? SHIT WHAT GAVE THAT AWAY?
clearly cerealguy is the new big mind of a generation
@azuritereaction Will you announce it? If only I do it, no one will participate, considering how few subs I have. Let's say... the contest will go from 4 weeks after you upload the video. I'll decide on the prizes later.
@Bulzeeb15 Well, I figured that it was the most solo-y part.
Wow. Sometimes there's almost no transparency in the spark which indicates the note was hot. 3:44 looks like a black hole (even though it's white) is emerging to absorb the screen.
@Moochalacho Thanks. I actually had to slow down almost everything to 0.5x; some parts needed 0.25x, and the "mind fuck roll" required 0.125x.
Have you tried charting it so that the in game drummer's model follows the on screen note chart? Cuz that would be a fun thing to watch.
The Rev plays this song to warm up... Yeah, I said it... RIP JIMMY!!
@metallicais1337 Did you honestly not find this until now? :P
Wow. Songs by venetian snares are to drums what an exilelord song is to guitar
You just re-linked this video. And if you're talking about the one that says "I FINISHED WITH 4X, DOES THAT MEAN I FCD IT", that's a joke video by the person who recorded this for me.
@AnimeAMV666 It's there, you just have to listen.
@leonkennedy1235 Or I just didn't bother making any animations for the drummer.
Dear God the strike line.
mind was just blown.
@TheRealWasteland3r Well, excuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess. How would you have charted it?
@TheRealWasteland3r Well, I feel the exact same way about Visions (the Abnormality one, not the Judas Priest one)
@CyclopsDragon Ahhhhhhhhh, definitely agree on that one.
Can someone tell me whats the purpose of all these rock band teams??
Whatever heappened to hi-hat snare hi-hat bass drum?
@mykygast This is a drum chart...
@H20Infinity P.S.
Visions hasn't exactly been considered the hardest song in a very very long time =P.
@PR0T0TYP3MKII Neither does 5, but that one's there too.
I think some parts might actually be undercharted lol
@MetalDrums221 I can honestly say that your stuff is safe.
With those 120 NPS rolls, this song literally needs to be slowed down to about 15% for it to be even possible to FC.
@5ur3f1r3 just because i said that the chart sucks ass doesn't mean that i also said im good at charting rock band songs. What you just said is like saying that the judges on American Idol are the best singers in the world, or the judges on America's got talent are the most talented people in the world, etc.
Just look at 0:13 there's only the sound of one tom but yet he charted about 9 or 10 yellow notes then the one tom
and I thought the chart I made for this on stepmania was unreasonably hard
@CyclopsDragon well yes or no? lol
@hudline65
Some of this stuff is so fast, you'd need to swing both sticks at a single pad 60 times in a second. You need more than 5 players to beat this.
@KOGAN1221 *120NPS.
@ZetaWave i know im more interested in watching that then the notes on the video :D
So is Morgan's quad drum demo II harder overall than this? Not just with nps, but like overall.
anyone else love the look of the 120NPS shine?
Looks like someone didn't read the first annotation of the video.
Even the drummer on the game said fuck it.
You should have a contest to see who can get the farthest into this song, and who ever wins get... I dunno. A pick for the next song you do (if you do).
@CyclopsDragon thanks. but how do you link it to your console (hope i'm not bothering you)
this makes want to try drums lol
@Patashu (hint: mine doesn't have a 120NPS roll)
@Jundrami "this *person* uses *100% computer generated instruments* right?"
Fixed.
