you will meet plenty of rapists in Austin, Texas. Even the cops in downtown don't bother too much with it, they only really care if there little patrols get hurt or if theres a murder, I lived down in austin texas for a bit. you'll also meet a lot of girls on 6th st that will also say they've been raped while down there but there they are again. I get you'd be a good guy and I would too, it's just not too uncommon in Austin Texas probably in a lot of big cities
That one story where the guy knew his friend was an active rapist and didn't call the cops, he should be in prison for the death of his friend's next victim. He doesn't even express remorse for not reporting him. Unbelievable. That woman would be alive if it wasn't for his selfishness.
To make matters worse, the dude didn't sound like someone who was just waiting on a friend to commit crimes with! I wouldn't be surprised if there are more victims! And that's the chance the OP took by not reporting! I hope I'm wrong!

I heard what sounding like a horse running thru the woods... as fast as they came they were gone! But 5 or 6 dogs all different breeds. The one in front was getting bit at by the one behind... they were snarling... i guess they didnt see me?? Even having a gun i just imagine if that big ball of energy had came at me that fast.... creepy!

I was born in Texarkana and raised in Texarkana, AKA The Town that Dreaded Sundown. My grandmother use to tell me how panicked the whole city was during the Phantom Killer’s reign of terror. People put boards on all of their windows, started a strict sundown curfew to be indoors, husbands stayed up all night with shotguns, wives started packing heat of home alone during the day. And absolutely no one was willing to risk going out on a date during all of that. There is a guy whom everyone accused, but authorities could not pin anything on. He died in a nursing home not too long ago. There is a video on TH-cam. of him in the nursing home that someone took in secret, trying to get him to confess. Anyway, thanks for reading. By the way, it’s pronounced “Tex-Ark-Anna”. No biggie.
