- Did I mention how much I love slowed songs? I won't be at peace until I hear the slowed and reverb version of every song I enjoy. I tried to make a slowed + reverb edit on the Main Theme, because, why not? I will probably edit other themes too.

This music fits the state of the actual servers themselves perfectly
I feel like tf2 is slowly traveling back in time since the only servers that existed in the release year were community servers and the actual servers weren’t introduced until 2011 which was when the game got ruined by becoming free to play. Now because of that, we have annoying little kids and bot hosts getting the game only to illegally kill it for everyone around earth

They are not major updating the game anymore because it’s now 15 years old. What do you expect? Every company stops major updating their games when they get too old. It’s just like when everything in the world gets too old that they need to be discontinued

TF2 had peaked player counts recently, a lot of ppl still play it. If they don't update the old, they should give the community something new(Not talking bout tf3).
Thermoses are also old, but because a lot of ppl use them, they are still being made. Somehow bicycles are still a thing. What about newspapers and radio? A lot of old things are still widely popular.
And even if you're right, what the hell am supposed to do then? Move on to overwatch? Maybe just give up on the shooters entirely bc they are old as genre?
Just so you know, the player counter is also programmed to be dumb enough to think that the bots playing the game are real players too. So this means that the player counter for tf2 doesn’t exist anymore since we’re never gonna know how many people are playing tf2 anymore because of the player counter thinking that the bots are real players too
@@heavenandhello6629 yeah, but the game still gives them money, has plenty of active players(and even more ppl in fandom itself). I actually get your point, but if they actually abandon the game, then they will abandon the community(which, imo is pretty big). Would it be financially better for them? Probably. Would it make them a better public picture? Absolutely not.

And as you lay, in a server infested with bots, the last human player, you reminisce about the times when you had fun, and if you’re being honest to yourself, you still probably are. But those golden times are gone, the last update was years ago, and this game has been fully forgotten, a shell of its former self. VALVe has no intention of ever acknowledging TF2’s existence ever again. It is time for you to go.

After nine years in development, hopefully it would've been worth the wait
I was not expecting this to actually go hard but holy shit. and now of course I'm going to be up even later than I already am because I want to try switching out some of the brass instruments for synthesizers and see how it sounds. (this is just a matter of personal taste but I've always found the brass a bit squeaky sounding in this) thankfully the project files for the whole soundtrack are available online, so enough of it is already done for me that I can just save the files and go to bed and do it later.
