We got a new project boat! We are very excited to get our hands on a 1994 Champion 201DCX bass boat. This thing is CLEAN. So clean we are just going to be doing a quick flip on her to bring in a more beat up Champ. Check back next week for another episode.

That looks like my dads boat he had custom made in 1992ish. If that original owner was in Texas that was probably his. If not it’s exactly the same which would be weird since they custom made these for owners. He had the same motor, lay out everything. He custom matched truck paint and interior to the boat. Truck interior even had matching red piping on the bench seat.
Champion listed that as ocean ready and unsinkable back in the day. They even threw in a couple of matching jackets haha
Another project.....can't wait to see it finished....I'm sure it'll be like new!!!

It's a shame these expensive and beautiful boats were left to just rot away. This one not bad except obviously been sitting in the water a long time. I find these gems all the time and want to start restoration myself. Even some that got started restoring but people gave up.
Seen a Bass Cat go by while we were eating lunch last weekend downtown and the sun glistening off the boat was breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous. And to think that in 15-20years that boat may one day look ragged and abused. Sad
You’re videos are great. I like this boat! Lol. I’m from bandera Texas just 3 hours north of corpus. I was a huge bass fisherman. I purchased a center console flats boats. Something about going out there with light tackle, and artificials gets me. I just wanted to let you know your videos have been wanting to go out.

Well damn Id love to buy that boat off you when youre done but I just bought a house and have moving expenses. Maybe you will get another Champion in the future.
