I have been a new born believer this year 2022 and I repented from my sin. I cut everything that was making me sin against God and one of them was living with my boyfriend. I took a step of faith by moving out and moving back with my parents and let me tell you my eyes have been opened to soooo many things I wasn’t able to see before. Now, I see why it was wrong in so many ways and I tried sharing the gospel to my boyfriend but he wasn’t understanding so that was the end of last sin I was a slave to. Now I enjoy the Victory with Jesus! Thank you for this show and for the way of the master course! I’m on fire for the Lord and my prayer is to remain this way and I ask for prayers for my ex boyfriend that one day he may also repent and depart from sin and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

As I weep while I write this. Thank you my brothers for your show and this particular topic on Godly sorrow and brokenness. I pray that you all would really spotlight a huge video on this topic. The woman loved much because she was forgiven much and it showed in her actions towards Jesus. But notice the religious person didn’t do anything but show a lack of reverence and also hospitality. He gave no oil for Jesus’ head, no water for His feet, no kiss as a sign of welcome. But the woman showed her love with her actions of washing Jesus’ feet with her “TEARS” and hair, etc. Even David said in Psalms 51 that the sacrifice of God is a broken spirit and contrite heart
I've been listening to your videos for years, how did I ever miss this one? Just the way it started out it was awesome!! I lost a friendship with a pastor over that Bible verse, "Stay away from all appearances of evil." He insisted a male and a female could live together in separate rooms and that it was not an appearance of evil. I told him it was an appearance of evil and he started screaming at me and then he hung up on me, he text me more things trying to prove his point I ignored him and he finally stopped.
Ray, question for you. may I be forgiven if I am wrong, but I personally think the commandment that we should not murder, is that this is a commandment for us. God made these commandments for us. He didn't make them for Himself, as He has the right to give life and to take it as you said, as He is our Creator. God bless.
As a new born believer, I had to go through hardship to repeat from my sin. Now, I see people who call themselves Christians but are not true Christian’s because they are still a slave to their sins it’s really discouraging to know they serve in church and preach Gods word. I always think about how can God make those false Christian’s truly repent and be born again when they know so much about the Bible? 23:09

I've been legally separated for 18 years my wife committed multiple affairs ,I had to leave the marriage after my wife destroyed my entire marriage, today years later I was introduced by a friend to this woman who was separated with her husband she has not file for a divorce yet she doesn't seem to even care about it . I on the other hand have tried numerous times for an uncontested divorce I cannot afford the cost of contested divorce, why she's doing this is just pure evil there is nothing between so. I am stuck in adultery relationship , I'm sure this is a common thing in in America. I would say that living together is living in a thin line. Then, what is their purpose of living together? What can they attain by living together that can not be attained as a couple living separated? I think that living together is like saying I am afraid to get married and commit.

Jesus says in the Bible "blessed are those who are not offended by me". There are many important things that were not mentioned in the Bible. John 21:25. A must read scripture for you. Here is another one-proverbs 3:5. Gods word is complete, but we must seek Him for His truth and Wisdom. To move forward in God is to remain teachable and reachable.
A perfect example of how living together before marriage falls into sin and problems: Check out a song by a dude named Derek Minor called Homecoming. A faithful Christian Girl with her man, and they decide to see how far their love goes, she gets pregnant and everything turns on them! Very touching song with a happy ending though, you have to check it out to know what I am talking about! :)
You're right that grace isn't a license to sin, but that doesn't mean that if we sin, we are no longer saved. Sin is inevitable, even after salvation; the difference is that we learn to hate it, and over time as we grow in Him, we learn to become more like Him, and therefore, we will sin less and less. Still, until we receive our glorified bodies, sin is inevitably going to happen from time to time. We're just supposed to not LOVE sin, and put our trust in Him to help us grow.
God gave us the reason why he had these mass killings: Genesis 15:16. He promised the land to Abraham but he will not give it to him on a whim "...for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete." Thus when God ordered the killings there was no hope but death, in some ways it was merciful to have killed them, had they lived longer, would they have earned themselves the deepest and worst seats of hell.
I do look outside the box. All the time. I learn from other peoples mistakes so that I won't have to go through them myself. Sometimes I make mistakes, which I then learn from. Salvation is not something you would like to make a mistake on, because then you won't learn from it because it will be too late.

What I find is that people really don't care whether they profess Christ or not. "Let him who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity" people no longer fear God they rarely even try to obey Him in anything.
To add to that it's not just repenting but true faith in Jesus Christ of course. I do think you can make a conscious decision to reject Jesus even after accepting him, as in you decide you are going to totally cast Him aside and do what you want. However that is different from fighting against sinning and failing to triumph over it. I'm unsure at this time if Scripture supports my view on losing Salvation in that way though.

The reason for God killing others was first a corruption of seed that did evil continuously and could not repent; called the nephilim. God won't allow people who choose sin to dwell among his people. They end up corrupting his people and need to be dealt with. When Gods people turn from him they are dealt with to. The problem is no one understands the severity of sin. That's always why they twist things to make them seem contradictory.
Who defines sin? That is the jest ion we must consider. If we use what is the norm in society to base what sin is then most of our behavior is not "sin". Now if we use Gods law as the definition of what sin is then that is a whole different thing. So the question you Ned to reflect on is what does God say sin is. it is written that Jesus said none that the Father gives him shall be lost - John 10:25 - 30. For a bit of a better arguement read Romans 7 - specifically verses 7 - 25. In verse 17 Paul mentions sin is living in him. He says this because he does the things he doesn't want to do, and yet the things he knows he should do he doesn't do those things. So Paul continued to sin, even though he was fighting against it. Where does scripture say you will lose salvation if you sin after repenting?

Even morality aside - it's just not as successful, not as good to move in together before you get married. Especially if you want to get married one day. Why be a wife before there'es a ring on your finger? Why would a man buy the cow if he gets the milk for free? What if you move in together and then feel unsure of your relationship, maybe you're meant to break up - but it's so much harder because your lives are entangled together. It's just not a good idea.

You cannot earn your salvation through repentance. You must first believe that Jesus died for your sins at the cross and that God raised him from the dead. Then the Holy Spirit will join with your soul and you will be 'Born Again'. Then the Holy Spirit will help you live a repentant life.
Do think its possible that when the bible speaks about fornication it was referring to sex worship, having sex with the temple prostitutes in order to worship the fertility goddess? My understanding is that was the original meaning of the word, hence the scripture "Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!" 1 Cor 6:15. That said I do believe wisdom calls to wait till marriage.

But you do realize that the same scientists your referred to in your comment have come to the conclusion that Jesus Christ actually walked this earth a little over two thousand years ago, right? They even acknowledge the fact that He was crucified on a cross by Roman soldiers. Those scientists realize that His crucifixion was historically accurate. The only thing they dispute is that He was resurrected. If a person is seeking evidence of a Creator, I think it's very important to first come to grips with the fact that Jesus Christ is not some fictitious character in a "book of fairytales" (as atheists and agnostics are so quick to claim). I needed this, because I have unknowingly walked into the appearance of sin, by letting a former coworker female live with me in another room in my house. There is absolutely no sex between us but there is the absolute appearance of sin. So what I've done is told her she must either pay more rent or leave. She has said that she would be leaving soon, because she's not happy there but, idk if her comment is entirely true because she's made it before and is still here! What do I do now? Anyone have any suggestions! For those who may ask, why is she not happy. Well I do practice my faith in my house and it is my house. So I've offered to share with her and she has declined twice now. Oo .. paying more rent? How is it solving the issue...it is far worse in my opinion: if living with a woman is not a good idea or even a sin, making money with it is not okay either. What you can do, is help her to leave maybe? She may have no place to live, so instead of asking her for money or showing her your door, try to find a place where she can go. That could be a good solution... She should do it, but at the same time you invited her, and now regret it.. so you also can take the responsability to find a way for her to go.
Again, I guess my comment which I made over a 1 year ago was me crying out for help. Like I said I did make a commitment to a friend from work to help her & her daughter by giving her a room in my home. But I did this not thinking how it would work. I had absolutely not thought this plan through. But God resolved this problem by taking away the home and we both had to leave. I now live in another home as a renter and she went and lived with her family until she can leave and live on her own again. It really wasn't a good idea to have a single woman live with me a supposedly godly man, people will say how are you godly living with a single woman & you a single man. A perfect example of how living together before marriage falls into sin and problems: Check out a song by a dude named Derek Minor called Homecoming. A faithful Christian Girl with her man, and they decide to see how far their love goes, she gets pregnant and everything turns on them! Very touching song with a happy ending though, you have to check it out to know what I am talking about! :)

You're right that grace isn't a license to sin, but that doesn't mean that if we sin, we are no longer saved. Sin is inevitable, even after salvation; the difference is that we learn to hate it, and over time as we grow in Him, we learn to become more like Him, and therefore, we will sin less and less. Still, until we receive our glorified bodies, sin is inevitably going to happen from time to time. We're just supposed to not LOVE sin, and put our trust in Him to help us grow.
God gave us the reason why he had these mass killings: Genesis 15:16. He promised the land to Abraham but he will not give it to him on a whim "...for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete." Thus when God ordered the killings there was no hope but death, in some ways it was merciful to have killed them, had they lived longer, would they have earned themselves the deepest and worst seats of hell.
I do look outside the box. All the time. I learn from other peoples mistakes so that I won't have to go through them myself. Sometimes I make mistakes, which I then learn from. Salvation is not something you would like to make a mistake on, because then you won't learn from it because it will be too late.

"Abstain from fornication this is your sanctification" The theme through the whole bible is that Christians don't practice sexual immorality we war against it. What I find is that people really don't care whether they profess Christ or not. "Let him who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity" people no longer fear God they rarely even try to obey Him in anything.
To add to that it's not just repenting but true faith in Jesus Christ of course.
I do think you can make a conscious decision to reject Jesus even after accepting him, as in you decide you are going to totally cast Him aside and do what you want. However that is different from fighting against sinning and failing to triumph over it. I'm unsure at this time if Scripture supports my view on losing Salvation in that way though.

The reason for God killing others was first a corruption of seed that did evil continuously and could not repent; called the nephilim. God won't allow people who choose sin to dwell among his people. They end up corrupting his people and need to be dealt with. When Gods people turn from him they are dealt with to. The problem is no one understands the severity of sin. That's always why they twist things to make them seem contradictory.
Who defines sin? That is the jest ion we must consider. If we use what is the norm in society to base what sin is then most of our behavior is not "sin". Now if we use Gods law as the definition of what sin is then that is a whole different thing. So the question you Ned to reflect on is what does God say sin is. And who should set the standard, He who created all and gives life to all, or man who is a flawed created being who is finite in life and knowledge.

For a bit of a better arguement read Romans 7 - specifically verses 7 - 25. In verse 17 Paul mentions sin is living in him. He says this because he does the things he doesn't want to do, and yet the things he knows he should do he doesn't do those things. So Paul continued to sin, even though he was fighting against it. Where does scripture say you will lose salvation if you sin after repenting?

Even morality aside - it's just not as successful, not as good to move in together before you get married. Especially if you want to get married one day. Why be a wife before there'es a ring on your finger? Why would a man buy the cow if he gets the milk for free? What if you move in together and then feel unsure of your relationship, maybe you're meant to break up - but it's so much harder because your lives are entangled together. It's just not a good idea.
I used to watch Gene's reality TV show, and it really seems he's coming to wisdom as he ages. Yeah, he's a Jew, and he does believe in God; that much I remember him mentioning. Has he become a Christian? Hopefully, but I really don't know. Either way, like I said, I think he's starting to come to wisdom as he ages - perhaps in a bit more time, he sees the word of the Lord.

God loves us all, even sinners, that doesn’t mean you won't go to hell for living in sin. you will. And You're right he does love us all, that why he sent Jesus to die for our sins, and for us to repent, and stop living in sin! and sex isn’t showing love, it's showing pleasure. Society today tends to confuse love(between 2 of opposite sex) and sex as one thing. it's not. You cannot earn your salvation through repentance. You must first believe that Jesus died for your sins at the cross and that God raised him from the dead. Then the Holy Spirit will join with your soul and you will be 'Born Again'. Then the Holy Spirit will help you live a repentant life.
Do think its possible that when the bible speaks about fornication it was referring to sex worship, having sex with the temple prostitutes in order to worship the fertility goddess? My understanding is that was the original meaning of the word, hence the scripture "Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!" 1 Cor 6:15. That said I do believe wisdom calls to wait till marriage.

But you do realize that the same scientists your referred to in your comment have come to the conclusion that Jesus Christ actually walked this earth a little over two thousand years ago, right? They even acknowledge the fact that He was crucified on a cross by Roman soldiers. Those scientists realize that His crucifixion was historically accurate. The only thing they dispute is that He was resurrected. If a person is seeking evidence of a Creator, I think it's very important to first come to grips with the fact that Jesus Christ is not some fictitious character in a "book of fairytales" (as atheists and agnostics are so quick to claim). Do you agree or disagree with the scientists and historians who admit that Jesus truly existed? By the way, I'm not here to argue. I'm simply trying to help you in your journey of seeking the truth through factual evidence.

I needed this, because I have unknowingly walked into the appearance of sin, by letting a former coworker female live with me in another room in my house. There is absolutely no sex between us but there is the absolute appearance of sin. So what I've done is told her she must either pay more rent or leave. She has said that she would be leaving soon, because she's not happy there but, idk if her comment is entirely true because she's made it before and is still here! What do I do now? Anyone have any suggestions! For those who may ask, why is she not happy. Well I do practice my faith in my house and it is my house. So I've offered to share with her and she has declined twice now. So that would be 1 reason I would imagine. No there is no physical attraction at least not me - her. Idk her - me. And really I was not even looking at it that way. Signed: Foolish.

How is it solving the issue...it is far worse in my opinion: if living with a woman is not a good idea or even a sin, making money with it is not okay either.
What you can do, is help her to leave maybe? She may have no place to live, so instead of asking her for money or showing her your door, try to find a place where she can go. That could be a good solution...
She should do it, but at the same time you invited her, and now regret it.. so you also can take the responsability to find a way for her to go.
Again, I guess my comment which I made over a 1 year ago was me crying out for help. Like I said I did make a commitment to a friend from work to help her & her daughter by giving her a room in my home. But I did this not thinking how it would work. I had absolutely not thought this plan through. But God resolved this problem by taking away the home and we both had to leave. I now live in another home as a renter and she went and lived with her family until she can leave and live on her own again. It really wasn't a good idea to have a single woman live with me a supposedly godly man, people will say how are you godly living with a single woman & you a single man. There must be something going on! Even though it was nothing going on but the appearance was there. So God worked it all out. Again I guess I was crying out for help and God stepped in. Praise the Lord! As for the paying more rent thing it was to get her to leave which was a bad idea. I should have just asked her to leave. But I was embarrassed too.

i really would like to believe we can sin and still be saved once saved always saved. however please warns people revelation 3 is very clear. if we dont repent there remains no sacrifice for us it seems this way anyhow. i'm willing to listen to you for your works sake Ray and where is kirk now ? time is very short now i say teach us how to repent fully and to not think we can go on sinning. please help us we believe but cant stop sinning what is a man or woman to do ? surely God wants us to be saved but the test seems too difficult to win at. the anxieties of the world are on me now i've tried to stop sinning and have in many areas but i seek relief so I drink now but when i read revelation 3 i have a sinking feeling. if you can help us please do. dont tell people they are saved if they will not manage to repent fully it seems irresponsible and you are far more responsible now than most people on the planet. ty for your works i'm glad when some of us try to tell people the truth they listen to you. we are not all that way. we talk but the world hates us instead of listening and it just hurts our relationships with people we care about.
