Sin is what separated us from God and it's the evil deeds we commit every day... But by jesus' blood (his death on the cross) we were forgiven because HE was sinless and pure - because of his death, we're alive in Him instead of facing the wrath/death that our sins were supposed to bring onto us. You do have a responsibility to make the correct choices, but sinning is inevitable. Yet, jesus' sacrifice for us lasts forever and that's why we'll always be loved and forgiven.
