Hat's off. That is not for the feint hearted. I climbed Carrauntoohil for the first time 3 weeks ago, via Devils ladder. I found that tough. Your images are fantastically scarey.
Jumping over the rocks like mountain goats. I was up Carauntoohill five times. But never this way. The fear of them cliffs, way too much for me. Well done to all who have the nerve to complete this endeavour.
Well done..have to say, I can feel the adrenaline just by watching this. I went up by the Cahir mountain route and found the small ridge on that quite tough. Just looks like a fantastic challenge..way to go!
Fairplay, just what I thought hardy! I lived below the Cruacha Dubha for some years and did many routes up them, these peaks are not high in international terms but can be seriously challenging, the weather and conditions change in an instance, and require wilderness reactions, great video.
The part from about 7 mins on where he goes around the side looks terrifying. I’ve seen the same part in other videos and can’t tell if it’s just the angle of the camera or not. Looks doable up until that part.
@@janmoyen ya ive now seen two videos of guys scrambling over the top and not around the side. That also looked terrifying but if feel it seem safer strangely. Its a lot of exposure but at least you can use both hands and feet. This kind of creeping around the side just looks dodgy as fuck

Thanks,
You'll have sore legs next day! tough climb.
at around 7.23 I would be struggling. a lot.
Id struggle on that even if it was a foot off the ground. Looks awkward as hell
Is there a scramble up over the bones or do you have to go around the side?

@@toomuch9762 I agree, I think I’d rather go over the top. Any slip on the side and you’re a goner.
Zo jammer dat ik nooit de top heb kunnen bereiken.
My goodness me, the highest point in Ireland
