FYI guys, c jk lumaki sa Cebu, Hindi sa maynila. At mostly sa mga pure na Cebuano nahihirapan pong mag Tagalog.. Kaya they rather speak English than Tagalog.. Specially he used to go in private school bago nag kasakit mom nya..kaya magaling sya mag English kysa magtagalog.
I first saw this boy on tv during his audition on the voice kids Philippines. His personal story touches my heart, about his biological father whom he never met and had zero connections with, and his mom who just died from a cancer 5 days before he started to compete. I think because of what he went through in life at such a young age, he is who he is now. He is resolute, he is committed, he is persistent, because of what he went through. And for that he is commendable. I am from Cebu, and i preferred to speak English than to speak Tagalog. Why do you trouble yourself speaking a different language if you're comfortable in speaking English language? Nung lumipat ako ng school, linagyan ng coconut beetle ang likod ko, I was 9, iniwan kami ng parents ko sa probinsiya, but ako lang ang nag enroll sa bundok school, when I turned 11 balik na naman sa bundok school may lalaki grade 6, 28 yrs. old hinabol ako, nung nag conference mga teachers pala, hindi ako makalabas ng school, `i locked myself sa building kasi may susi ako from my teacher when I thought wala na siya, I opened the door & takbo so fast, I fell on my chest & now I have a crooked rib. Ang daming bullying even from teachers.
