I've found that when laying contact paper if you have a dry cloth that's fairly thick, like a face cloth or dish cloth, and use that folded up a few times to push the paper flat and to push the air bubbles out. It works brilliantly and doesn't scratch or stretch the plastic which can happen by just using your hands/fingers.

Shaunti Negron Levick Hi Shanti. 😁 The things on the top shelf I bought like that except the vase that's in the gold and pink bucket. That was Kryolan spray paint in ballet slipper. The giraffe and mason jar on the second shelf are La Mer Rose Gold spray paint I purchased at Michaels. 😊
