I just bought a 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t model, and after 3 months I am extremely pleased with it. The build quality seems EXCELLENT. Hats off to all the workers at this plant- you are doing a fine job!

@@desioasis2378 I'm definitely debating a ktuner for mine, I'm no stranger to tunes like that but I've always owned BMW and recently an Infiniti so JB4 was the go to for me or ecutek and MHD don't have much experience with a ktuner but I've seen tons of videos on it, it seems to turn the accord into a tire shredding monster, Before i get it id definitely try to get into some Michelin Pilot sports, the stock primacy's i believe just can't hang, The pilot sports are pricey on a 19 inch wheel but i think its worth it

not sure why honda lost 40%+ sales this year, owned 2 accords, a civic in the past and currently still own a 2018 odyssey with first application of 10 speed trans, hope honda survive the EV transformation and makes great EVs in future.

Exactly. That's engineering. A lot goes into it. Even a lot more than what's shown here. Design, Material selection, Electronics, Software, Calibrations, Programming, ... A lot of things that are sometimes taken for granted....
Honda has been part of my life since I was an infant. My dad worked at the East Liberty plant for over 30 years and we always owned Civics and Accords. My '91 Si is my baby. Almost half a million miles on the body now. Swapped out the original D16A6 with a JDM B16A and it's a thrill to drive. It's like a go-kart on steroids.
I have my '92 Si Hatch and my '92 EX Accord Wagon(cb9), built at Marysville. Even the CB9's shipped to Japan were made in Ohio. Great build quality, awesome cars, a blast to drive with double wishbone and disc brakes all around on the CB9 Wagon, and struts on the Si Hatch. My 1st Honda was the 1972 Z600 Coupe, handled like it had velcro tires, incredible 51mpg. Oh, I also have my '86 CB700SC Nighthawk motorcycle. Shaft drive, hydraulic valves, incredible bike, I'd never sell it. So, I have Honda's two best cars (not counting the OG NSX) and Honda's best bike, and since Honda makes the best cars in the World, I'm set. Hondas Rule.
My last Honda JDM(Japan Domestic Market) lasted me for 15 years 200K miles and sold it off still in good condition. And now I drive a new Honda JDM 2022.

Unfortunately no auto maker is making anymore coupes they can barely sell sedans now to where its profitable with such a high demand with suvs and crossovers.
The quality control checks of Honda is impressive! Not all automakers are so good. I used to sell new cars for Hyundai and later Ford. The Hyundai Santa Fe models had a consistent unexplainable wind noises during test drives. Very embarrassing to explain that to customers. At Ford, we had a few brand new fully loaded Mustang GT Premium models that arrived with body paint overspray showing up around the wheel wells. Again, very embarrassing 🙄

You have to see the 4 die press in person to really appreciate what a beast it is. To control vibration it sits on a footing that is 3 stories deep and contains the equivalent of over 1/2 million 80lb bags of concrete. As the dies drop the air moves out in a noticeable "whoosh" and when they hit you can feel the "thump" in your whole body. Its not a particularly loud sound, more of a gut thing. The various parts move in a mesmerizing way, like a well choregraphed dance.
My Accord 2.0T will be build at this plant the end of Nov. Cant wait for my Accord. Wont be getting it sometime during Chrismas week. I like these model better than the new 2023 redesign but that's just my preference.
I've owned three Accords. All of them white. My first one was a 1990 Accord, then a 2010 Accord, and then a 2018 Accord 2.0 Turbo. I loved all three. The 2018 is the best. 😀

Its like the Toyota Plant here in San Antonio it did the Tundras and Tacoma’s. They took off the Taco to bring in the Sequoia plant shut down for few months for the retro fit of the new vehicle.
Hondas are looked at as cheap people cars but they are a great investment saving hundreds of dollars on repairs and way better fuel economy than most cars . They also look so good now and people are always staring at my 2016 civic coupe

I used to work at GM, I started in 69. One of my occasional duties was to stand where the cars came out of oven after the paint job was baked. Had a tray of tiny bottles with all the paint colors to dab at any spots that were missed. I never saw one. Eight boring hours.

That plant has made a large number of cars over the years. My 2004 was built there and still runs like a top after 345,000 kilometres

Hyundai Santa Fe Sport engine failures 2013 - 2016, have 160k on now, it's been okay, never again though...
