Don't concentrate on loosing weight right now. After delivering the baby your body will need to keep nourishing because of breastfeeding. Also please remember everyone body is different so your body will change in time. Right now what you need to keep in mind is to rest, be happy and take one day at a time. Your life will change during this week. Just embrace it and let the people around you to give you support. I will keep you in my 💞 and prayers. God bless you.
Breast feed as much as possible. It is ok to get help with feedings too. A mother burns tons of calories breast feeding. You will be so busy. Take your time and enjoy this season. It goes quickly

Rachel each and every day of your life with your baby is going to be unique and special. I feel like it was just yesterday that my 27 and 21-yr-old boys were babies. Where on earth did that time go?!!! The point is you and your baby are your priority and that's what matters most. Being a new mom and all that goes with it is so much fun, a little scary, but so much fun! Be present every second of every minute of it. I know I was because I remember every single cute little thing my boys did as babies and I remember every cute thing they said before they had full command of speaking. It is just so joyful! Best wishes to you and thank you for being such an inspiration to us all.

I am seeing this after Holland is at home. I am so sorry that your monther is not here to see her little granddaughter. I know how hard it is when your parents pass away especially your mother. It it takes time to go through the grieving process, and to heal. I still haven't removed my mother's clothes from her bedroom, and she passed away in Jan. of 2018. With everything going on in th world right now, I am so grateful they are in a peaceful place. I really do believe your sweet little baby Holland will help with the grievieng process by bringing new life into your home. Cherish the moments you had with your mom, and cherish the moment now with Holland. Take lots of pictures so you see her grow. As for you, I Love the quilt. So beautifully made.

Also hugs from Sharon in the US…I too was huge at the end of my second son. Took me three years to lost the weight…the divorce diet, lol. The menopause hit and it all came back. I decided I didn’t care…now 70 and care even less!
I lost my Mom a few Months ago and still in denial . I miss her so much . She wouldn’t eat or talk either . I miss her too - sorry you hurt as I hurt too . I cared for her for years after I retired from Nursing . Love you 😍
My daughter-in-law had both of her children by C section. Everyone did great! She recovered much sooner than I did with a vaginal delivery. It’s going to be fine. We’re all here for you and it sounds like you come from good stock. Just wait till you see that sweet baby!!

Rachel, you have been amazing through all of this. I have been watching your channel for quite some time now, however this video I could not launch when it first came out. Like you I became a caregiver to my mother and she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. When she was diagnosed I immediately dropped everything(I have two small businesses that I work at my house) it was the hardest thing I had to do, watching her turn into this person that I no longer realized it was so traumatic. From her being so sick, losing all of her hair and her 30 pound weight loss, which was very sad because she was only 90 pounds to begin with. The cancer had turned her into someone I didn’t even recognize. So I applaud you for being able to talk about it. It’s funny when you were very candid about the weight gain which was 70 pounds. This made me feel not so alone in my weight gain during my pregnancy with my one and only child I put on 75 pounds. With a pregnancy that was very very difficult, one due to the fact that I had all day morning sickness which lasted for over 7 months and then it was also high risk which meant I had to be in bed for nine weeks. That was rough! But when I delivered my son in 45 minutes and one push. It was so worth everything I had to go through. Now mind you I thought he was going to be at least 20 pounds. But no! He was 7 lbs. 14 oz. but he was 24 1/2 inches in length, I’m only 5” 3. He was so Long and thin. I thought where did all that weight come from. Lol but totally worth it. Rachel, I just adore you and your channel. Oh, and let’s not forget that gorgeous baby.

You seem to carry it well because it doesn’t look like a lot. It’s refreshing to hear you say you’ve enjoyed the journey and indulged at times. You look so beautiful and I know you’ll lose the baby weight fairly soon after, especially if you do nurse. I had a c-section too. I thought it was funny to have a scheduled date to go to the hospital. The quilt your friend made is precious and so sweet and thoughtful. I’m sorry you’re missing your mom. 💔 My grandpa, who I’ve always been very close to, has Alzheimer’s. I’m not sure when he’ll leave us but it feels in a lot of ways like we lose him twice, if that makes sense. It’s a such a cruel disease and I pray someday we’ll have answers to how to prevent or treat it. I will be praying for a smooth delivery, healthy baby and mama. Every woman wanta her mom when she's having her first baby. Having a first baby is so scary and a c-section is even scarier. You will be nervous and scared while everyone around you works on you. Then things will move quickly and you will hear her first cries. That is when everything seems to calm down and you know all is okay. God bless all of you.

Being a new mom and all that goes with it is so much fun, a little scary, but so much fun! Be present every second of every minute of it. I know I was because I remember every single cute little thing my boys did as babies and I remember every cute thing they said before they had full command of speaking. It is just so joyful! That was a game changer 😍 I turned 58 today my oldest child a daughter is 40 I gained 85 pounds!!!!! YOU will be fine!!!! I am seeing this after Holland is at home. I am so sorry that your monther is not here to see her little granddaughter. I know how hard it is when your parents pass away especially your mother. It it takes time to go through the grieving process, and to heal. I still haven't removed my mother's clothes from her bedroom, and she passed away in Jan. of 2018. With everything going on in th world right now, I am so grateful they are in a peaceful place. I really do believe your sweet little baby Holland will help with the grievieng process by bringing new life into your home. Cherish the moments you had with your mom, and cherish the moment now with Holland. Take lots of pictures so you see her grow. As for you, I Love the quilt. So beautifully made.

It was so heartfelt and touching. Know that you are a beautiful person inside and out and forget about the weight. I gained 60 pounds with my first child and I can tell you, I did not look good! You are absolutely radiant and gorgeous. Delivery and breastfeeding will take care of most of that so don't even worry about it! I was also deeply moved by your sharing about your mother. Also hugs from Sharon in the US…I too was huge at the end of my second son. Took me three years to lost the weight…the divorce diet, lol. The menopause hit and it all came back. I decided I didn’t care…now 70 and care even less!
I lost my Mom a few Months ago and still in denial . I miss her so much . She wouldn’t eat or talk either . I miss her too - sorry you hurt as I hurt too . I cared for her for years after I retired from Nursing . Love you 😍
My daughter-in-law had both of her children by C section. Everyone did great! She recovered much sooner than I did with a vaginal delivery. It’s going to be fine. We’re all here for you and it sounds like you come from good stock. Just wait till you see that sweet baby!!

Awww Rachel... I have watched you through your pregnancy and I have to say I think Im as excited as you are ( well you know what I mean :) ) . Its difficult to know what to say that would even come close to add to the excitement you and Derick are feeling right now. Rachel, you have been amazing through all of this. I have been watching your channel for quite some time now, however this video I could not launch when it first came out. Like you I became a caregiver to my mother and she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. When she was diagnosed I immediately dropped everything(I have two small businesses that I work at my house) it was the hardest thing I had to do, watching her turn into this person that I no longer realized it was so traumatic. From her being so sick, losing all of her hair and her 30 pound weight loss, which was very sad because she was only 90 pounds to begin with. The cancer had turned her into someone I didn’t even recognize. So I applaud you for being able to talk about it. It’s funny when you were very candid about the weight gain which was 70 pounds. This made me feel not so alone in my weight gain during my pregnancy with my one and only child I put on 75 pounds. With a pregnancy that was very very difficult, one due to the fact that I had all day morning sickness which lasted for over 7 months and then it was also high risk which meant I had to be in bed for nine weeks. That was rough! But when I delivered my son in 45 minutes and one push. It was so worth everything I had to go through. Now mind you I thought he was going to be at least 20 pounds. But no! He was 7 lbs. 14 oz. but he was 24 1/2 inches in length, I’m only 5” 3. He was so Long and thin. I thought where did all that weight come from. Lol but totally worth it. Rachel, I just adore you and your channel. Oh, and let’s not forget that gorgeous baby.

I am somewhere between Las Vegas and Reno trying to get back home and I will also be busy when I get home for the next few days so I thought I'd better check in with you Rachel and Derek and wish you all the best. I don't care what anybody else says Rachel you're still an angel. You definitely have a way with words to bring Sunshine into our family's life. You've been beautiful since I've been watching you. Remember you don't have to doll up at home or the hospital. Enjoy that private time with your baby girl. You look amazing and it seems like your baby girl has dropped a bit to get ready for her debut. I love your openness about the pregnancy weight gain. You seem to carry it well because it doesn’t look like a lot. It’s refreshing to hear you say you’ve enjoyed the journey and indulged at times. You look so beautiful and I know you’ll lose the baby weight fairly soon after, especially if you do nurse. I had a c-section too. I thought it was funny to have a scheduled date to go to the hospital. The quilt your friend made is precious and so sweet and thoughtful. I’m sorry you’re missing your mom. 💔 My grandpa, who I’ve always been very close to, has Alzheimer’s. I’m not sure when he’ll leave us but it feels in a lot of ways like we lose him twice, if that makes sense. It’s a such a cruel disease and I pray someday we’ll have answers to how to prevent or treat it. I will be praying for a smooth delivery, healthy baby and mama. We’ll be here waiting to hear from you when you return, no matter how long that takes. You enjoy this new season of life with your family! 🙏🏽❤️💕🍼👶👩🍼👨👩👧

Every woman wanta her mom when she's having her first baby. Having a first baby is so scary and a c-section is even scarier. You will be nervous and scared while everyone around you works on you. Then things will move quickly and you will hear her first cries. That is when everything seems to calm down and you know all is okay. God bless all of you.
