We are FULANI AFRICANS in the US. We have a great story to tell! My family's foundation is trying to make a short film, documentary, about our ancestor, who was a civil war hero. He was only 10 years old when he was put on a horse and sent to fight in a war, where he was a lone survivor! And the story continues to get better. My elder cousin, is traveling near and far, to track down our roots that lead to...the Great Kingdom of the FULANI Africans of the Jolof Empire!!! We unveiled a plaque, (photo) on the sidewalk in downtown Charlotte, NC during a rededication to him, this past Saturday July 20th 2024 If your interested in helping us tell the story of the FULANI Titus lineage...Please hit me up here 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

@@cirka4497 Well aware of who the Fulani are and where they live. The connection being made is a broader deeper one.
Both the Fulani and Tutsi are Ethio-Cushitic peoples, and both reside now far from their place of original origin. Both remain recognizable and distinct from the nearby general populations. The Tutsi migrated to central East Africa and now live among Bantoid peoples there. The Fulani live in north central Africa also among the Bantoid as well as north African Arabic people. The Fulani are close cousins to the Wodaabe people nearby. All three groups are majorly Ethio-Cushitic. Not Arab, not Bantoid.

@@brolickscholar3083 The Fulani speak a Niger-Congo language. They probably came to West Africa from Nubia. Welmers (2) explained that the Niger-Congo homeland was in the vicinity of the upper Nile valley, not Niger Basin. The archaeological evidence supports this view, indicating that only in the past 3 ky did people begin to occupy the Niger Basin.
Rosa et al. (3) noted that most Niger-Congo speakers like the Mande and Balanta carry the E3a-M2 gene, whereas a number of Felupe-Djola, Papel, Fulbe, and Mande carry the M3b*-M35 gene, the same as many people in the Sudan.
The Fulani were people from the Kemetic-Nubian Civilization, as were the Dogon.

I am a Fulani from Senegal but I believe that the Fulani are descended from the original 12 Jewish tribes as all the similarities are definitely something in common. The Fulani were easy to capture for slavery because they did not have stable land and moved from place to place, just like the Jewish people who fell victim to it all over the world . The Jews are more united but the Fulani are not.
