- Garth Brooks chatted about his work with Habitat for Humanity and President Jimmy Carter, who called out the singer for taking a short break while building roofs in Haiti. The country music icon also talked about his wife Trisha Yearwood dressing up as him for Halloween, and how there's no difference between playing in small dive bars and huge stadiums on his tour.

I love Garth Brooks, I saw in concert in the late 90's. I am not a huge country music fan but Garth was different. Still love him and so happy for his wife.
I saw Garth in Florida back in 1991. Way back when he first started. I love him. He is such a humble man. So great about remembering his roots. And he is good to everyone. God bless him.
I have been such a fan from the beginning too...I saw him twice in the early 90s...BEST concert experience! I smiled the whole time watching this clip.

@@peachy75019 he was at Country Thunder here and Tricia Yearwood was performing too way before they ever got together. She only had She's in love with the boy for a hit song. We had a monsoon that night. Garth played during the storm and no one left the show. He couldn't believe everyone stayed through the thunder, lightning and pouring rain. I was so young and we didn't care. That's a great memory.

I love this man so much. Isn't it strange having someone you don't even know be such a huge part of shaping who you are. Garth taught me how to be unapologetically passionate about what you love. I wish I could meet him, it would be a literal dream come true.

My dad loves Garth’s music. He always had his songs on while we were in the car when I was growing up. Now whenever I hear one of his songs, I recall all those special moments with my dad. I’m getting married next year, and my father-daughter dance will be to him singing To Make You Feel My Love. 💕

Still and always a true southern gentleman lol all the fame and fortune can change a lot of things and most people, but not Mr. Brooks. Class act!
I love that Garth performs in small dive bars. I do have one gripe, though. You cannot buy any Garth Brooks' songs on Itunes. You can't find them anywhere. So, as a fan, you're forced to listen to cover songs, and there's not that many of them out there. Mr. Brooks, if you truly want to share your music with the little guy. Make it available to those folks that can't afford the money for the tickets or to take the time off from work to see you in concert. Please, make your songs available on all music platforms.
Edit: Vinyl is great for personal enjoyment; although, not everyone is a hipster with a record player. If you're a wedding DJ, and you want to share a Garth Brooks' song with the audience, there's not authentic digital copy to play for them. Certainly no way to purchase the digital copy of Garth Brooks' song and have him receive just compensation for it. It really, really stinks for fans.

@@heatherparker2491 If you go to Wal Mart or Target, you might be able to buy a CD of "Now, That's What I Call Music! Vol. 138", but try finding Garth Brooks' "No Fences" for sale. Even if you did find it, walk up to a DJ at a Country bar, hand it to him & ask him to play it for you. 9 times out of 10 he's not going to have a CD player handy. Even if he does, it's an inconvenience to play a CD. DJs all use laptops & play digital files now. Garth needs to get with the times if he wants his music to be shared with his fans.
@@JoshuaFrick3 oh. Well. I am older and no offense, don't frequent bars or dance halls, etc. I bought all of his cassette tapes and CDs back in the day. I'm pretty sure if you eBay it you could find one, download via cd onto computer and convert file format to load onto digital player of some sort. I think if he's not done it this long, he won't be doing it in the future.
