I just started playing B3 and had this terrible, nagging feeling that this game lost the magic the series had. I can't really pinpoint it, but the generic urban environments and the constant interruptions in the combat made me very worried. But seeing this video makes me very happy - it looks exactly like I wanted Bayo 3 to be!
This is the only fight reminiscent of B1/B2. The rest of the game is quite differente and the story is the worst of the 3, like Rise of the Skywalker levels of bad.

How come you're doing so much DMG? Like madam butterfly's uppercut is so strong, it isn't usually like this. How'd you get her uppercut to do so much DMG?
Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get more than one or two hits in before he breaks WT and counter me. Also I can never get away from his grab move that drain all your health.
Is that Climax difficulty? As I know we can get Rodin weapon by losing the batte alot, so I think you should try not to use Rodin weapon in this battle would be more impressive
Nah, I have fought all Rodin’s through the Bayo trilogy. The first although u can’t use witch time, his moves are nowhere near as punishing as the 3. The 2nd is just a tighter and a lot shorter version than 3. 3 is by far the toughest one since it took me 5-6 hours to beat and nearly got pure platinum in doin so but I instead got platinum as I got hit only once.
Biggest advice would be to find a BNB combo that ends w. a wink launcher, this will cause rodin to slam back down into the ground...which you can dodge and then do another combo! Also in the second phase if you knock him back, be prepared for him to recover and immediately counter attack.
i’m pretty sure it’s native hardware. remember that the fps complaints aren’t that it’s choppy, rather that it’s not consistent. it’s still smooth for most people.

I think they were using the Hymn of Durga accessory, which greatly increases the damage demons do, but makes them easier to enrage.

If hes doing the red exploding circle - you're doing too many hits, focus on shorter combos that end in a wicked weave/ wink attack

Okay even in bayo 1 rodin didn't have this many HP bars, and yeah demon slave/masquerade has damaging blows but my god... talk about excessive.

Rodin in bayo 2 was copied to bayo 3 and even the dialogue is the same. well gonna just spam Punch Kick Punch with bayo 1 guns.
The fight is similar but he actually has a bunch of new bullshit you have to react to so.
