Mulberry is actually a good idea. Mulberry trees enjoy the wet areas, so makes sense that they would know the taste of the berries and assume it is food.

Me personally ajust it for every fish ,because none of them are the same size ,so what i do is after I strike I would tighten the drag gradually until I feel the fist can still pull it by that the drag is tight enough to keep the slack out of the line....if that makes sense to you
