- Here I share the books that have been on the woman’s prize for fiction 2019 to 2024 which are the years I have been on TH-cam. I talk about which books I have read, unread and want to read.

Queenie was a favourite 💜
🙋🏻♀️
Thank you ☺️
🙋♀️🐈
Thank you ☺️
💜📚 not a women's prize reader, but I do enjoy the content of it - occasionally a book that does peak my interest.💜📚
I haven’t always been but the FOMO got me 💜
2019 - Ooooh read and enjoyed Circe and My Sister the serial Killer 😃💜📚
They are so good 💜
👱♀️
Thank youv
2024: Only interested in Enter Ghost because of how one booktuber spoke about it.
This was really fun💜📚♀️
Thanks for watching and commenting 💜💜
@@novellenovels always💜📚
20:21 - I also love the Vanishing Half and I want to read Piranesi 💜📚
Maybes we could read Piranesi together? 💜
Plan!!! 👍💜📚
Such a great video! I absolutely love all things Women’s Prize. I only started following it in 2021 just after my daughter was born. I loved so many of the same novels as you particularly Hamnet, Great Circle, Marriage Portrait, Transcendent Kingdom. I highly recommend Piranesi, I absolutely loved it! Of the others you mentioned, Build Your House Around My Body, Fire Rush, This One Sky Day were all excellent and thoroughly good reads in my opinion! But I also liked Pod haha, So maybe you will need a second one 😂 Looking forward to more of your videos and thoughts on books you read 🚺💜 Oh and thank you for recommending Careless and An American Marriage! Must get to them soon
Oh I will look at the books you recommended thank you ☺️ You loved she ones I did. Will try piranesi thank you. I’m so glad you enjoyed this
🙋🏻♀️ great video. I didn’t like Piranesi at all but loved Pod. Cursed Bread was a hard read but very good.
Thank you. Pod definitely had mixed reviews
2022: 0😂💜📚
2023: Demon Copperhead I liked the first part felt the 2nd she was bound by following Dickens plot and couldn't go in more interesting directions such as social care.
Interested in reading Bandit Queens, and Wandering Souls and Pod...
...
... OK not really Pod, but I loved everyone's reaction to it 😂💜📚
😂😂I’m sooo looking forward to Bandit Queens
I’m hoping to finally read Piranesi this month. I really started engaging with the prize in 2022 and read the shortlist (except for the island of missing trees). Careless was robbed of that shortlist! Great Circle is a favourite of all time. Did Charlie hate Trauma Bread? (The Bread the Devil Knead), I did not know that? Awesome book but had probably the most awful scene I’ve ever read in my life in it.
Having read of all of last years list, I think the four you’ve read were great. I disagree about Demon, I loved David Copperfield so so much and I adore Demon! I think you might like Dog of the North but it’s bizarre. Bandit Queens I think you will like so much.
I think you’ve done well to read 4 from this year already. Looking forward to trying The Maiden and Nightbloom. I’ve heard both views on The Wren The Wren, some people have loved it so I don’t think you should let first impressions put you off. I’m reading it now. 🚺😊
I’m looking forward to trying The Wren The Wren and hope I like it. I’m sooo loving brotherless night.. I think careless was definitely robbed m. Great circle is definitely my favourite ❤️ I want to try piranesi but nervous about it
Stay away from Flamingo. I loved The Bread The Devil Knead but it’s extremely traumatic. I know the girls call it Trauma bread as a result!!
GC is probably my favourite Women’s Prize book along with GWO, The vanishing half, Transcendent Kingdom and obviously DEMON!! ❤️These are this years list aside. Loads of fab ones this treat too ❤
You are doing well this year 🥰Great to hear your thoughts sweets. 🚺
This years list is going soooo well. Yes GC is my favourite but I loved careless ❤️❤️
😆😆😆 🍞😱😭
Yay Charlie we have books in common! Love Vanishing half and GWO 😃😃😃💜📚
I’ve finished the woman’s prize and mixed views on the books x
Oh please let me know your ranking x
You’ve read loads!! Defo don’t bother with Flamingo, that’s several hours of my life I’ll never get back 😂
Bandit Queens is amazing though, can’t wait to hear your thoughts when you get to it 🤩💃
Yep I definitely think flamingo is not worth it. So excited about bandit queens
I messaged Charlie this morning as I have just started listening to Soldier Sailor. I am only up to chapter two, and it is sad .I am unsure if I will continue at the moment just because of my mindset . 🙍♀️
I wouldn’t sweetie be gentle on yourself
Parinisi, I think probably not, the fantasy/dystopian/science fictionesque elements, not usually your wheelhouse, but not a long book, a joy after the length of her breakout book, so maybe give it a try. The Dutch House was a disappointment fo rme, obviously, others liked it. I'm enjoying Florida (short stories) by Lauren Groff at the moment, I loved her book Matrix.
Piranesi is one I’m so conflicted on as it doesn’t sound like a me book.
3:34 - awww you are a Picese I am just organising description box for my video on a Zodiac middlegrade recommendations! You have already read and enjoyed one of the picese Recs 😂
