I feel like I’ve had the most consistent success with this deck (or similar versions with old Ponyta / Rapidash) to the point where I try playing other decks and they just feel so slow and ineffective by comparison. Thanks for the recommendation!
This deck is great in Solo mode for those 3 star rarity or less missions and also missions where you have to use Fire only typing against Gyarados ex for example (that mission took me a while to do).
I've been getting a lot of winning sprees with this deck. =) Although I run it with one of each of the old and new ponyta and rapidash just in case I need to guarantee a certan amount of damage or don't have enough time for two energy to finish a game. And sometimes you can finish a game turn two if you go first and have old rapidash and Blaine in hand. And great content bro. Keep it up!
I run 1 farfetch instead of a giovani which definitely feels a lot better at getting early chip damage when going 2nd and not overflowing with trainer cards
Crazy I had made this deck before your video and was killing stuff, destroyed a gyarados deck quick, then I thought why hasn't Godzly used it yet and here we are lol. Love the content bro 👌
This has to be the most fast paced battles in this video I've ever seen GG's dude and I'm running that same decklist too, its fun to play against Celebi players 😊
I actually like old Rapidash more in the Blaine deck, I feel like the 40 damage for 1 energy is very good especially because Ninetails is the main sweeper for the deck. New Rapidash feels clunky with 2 energies to attack when Ninetails always loses 1. I like the new Ponyta a lot tho
Ninetails doesn’t sweep 120 hp Pokémon though so it can’t hit Mew whereas the new Rapidash can, albeit with a coin flip. Given that Mew has a Koga style card you kind of need to one shot it to secure a takedown. Old Rapidash can do 80 damage by your second attack, new Rapidash could theoretically do 140 (Ponyta heads and the Rapidash heads) and that’s without Blaine. I think 1 and 1 is the best mix. You won’t always draw Ninetails and if you don’t have something that can eat Celebi you’re getting cooked. New Rapidash can take down Celebi with Giovanni whereas Ninetails needs Blaine.
@@mkelly7143but the old deck was good because it didn’t rely on coin flipping. The ponyta pushes more damage with this deck but i had no problem beating a mew ex. Rapidash slow burns her and her using genome hacking hurts it by eating energy for a 40 Damage hit. Also if you arent flipping heads its back to being a normal rapidash.
@@stefano5776 New Rapidash has the ability to deal as much as 130 damage. Old Rapidash maxes at 80. I think an additional 50 damage is worth 1 extra energy. That extra 50 can come in handy.
@@ProfessionalCommentor i think the extra damage is worth the extra 1 energy and coin flip. 40 of the old rapidasg won't work forever against Mewtoo or Celebi or other mons that can dish out massive damage.
DUDE that Exeggutor / Greninja deck is spicy! Seems like a good low to the ground Aggro deck. You gotta give that one a look for future videos and see how well it does!
Hey man, nice video! I am running the same deck as yours, but instead, I found more reliability on Moltres EX since it's a good energy dealer; Giovanni is overkill since you will not use it that much and you will eventually be left with too many trainer cards in your hand. Try it out!
One pokemon that's so sadly overlooked in this deck is Salazzle, especially the Mythic Island version. Newer version does 30 damage and inflicts poison, and the genetic apex version has a base attack of 60 with only 2 energy. Both are extremely fast to get rolling and fit perfectly in the line up. I use 2x vulpix, 2x Ninetails, 2x new Ponyta, 2x new Rapidash, 2x old Salandit, one each of Salazzle, 2x speed, 2x prof oak, 2x blaine, then a pokeball, and a sabrina just to be toxic, 2x pokeball would probably be better lol. This deck is super aggressive and has pulled me very consistent wins against almost any deck I've faced lately.,
That last game was cool I hope the opponent wasn't upset, that seemed like an interesting deck and I've seen Exeggutor EX just bop Blaine because of it's chance to 1 shot the early basics of Blaine, NGL Don't have an Exeggutor EX( but I do have the regular EX, I'm still trying to finish the Immersive Mew mission, so I'm pulling from Pika since I still need Golem and Raichu from there for Immersive Mew, I have pretty bad EX luck, but have Crazy full art luck for what I do manage to pull (funny enough have 2 Immersive Pikachu EX before even getting 1 4 diamond Pikachu EX XD)
I run something similar and it has worked incredibly well. I dont find giovanni necessary since we already have blaine. I like original rapidash over the newer one since the decks primary strength is speed. 2 new ponyta 2 original rapidash 2 vulpix 2 ninetails 1 farfetched 2 blaine 2 sabrina 2 oak 2 x speed 2 poke ball 1 red card
People may be running older cards as may not have the new one yet. I just have 1 of the new Ponyta and Rapidash line so i have to run the old line too.
Think adding 1 moltres to this deck and a leaf would make it a bit more viable, moltres can stack energy on the new rapidash and ninetails then you leaf him outta there and start smacking
@GODZLYY can you use my deck? -2x Staryu -2x Chewtle -2x Drednaw -2x Starmie Ex -2x Potion -2x X speed -2x Pokeball -2x Prof. Research -2x Misty -1x Sabrina -1x Leaf
I made this deck when I got the new ponyta and rapidash too, I liked it but thought the extra energy for a coin flip was a bit inconsistent, ninetails is my heavy attacker and they discard energy, so spending an extra energy on rapidash seemed like i waste a turn and wasn't able to attack as fast if i had to switch out to rapidash. example: if attacking with ninetails, we discard an energy, so it makes it difficult to set up another card, but that did not matter since dash only needs one to attack. also sometimes, using blaine felt like a waste, like with blaine, dash does 70 but has a chance to do 130, the damage difference is way to much if a card has 70 hp, do i risk the coinflip or guaranteed it with a blaine, blaine decks are good and consistent cuz we do not need rely on coin flips or RNG. i did keep the knew ponyta, since the only difference is 10 damage, but we can flip for an extra 30. so my blaine uses new ponyta and old rapidash
Finally, someone with the same logic, I use the exact same deck that's really reliable, fast and strong. Unless,I added a mew, cuz who knows, if the guy get a crazy hand and somehow manage to get all the transformations and stuff, you can use his setup against him for a clutch with that lil pink monster (love this card, got the gold card eheh). That's another reason why I need that much energy and can't afford then new Rapidash, Mew needs his 3 energy for the mirror ability. when it's built up this deck is really unbeattable that's insane (I only lose due to really bad luck or pikachu + Raichu deck, still wondering how could I win against this deck, maybe outluck them ?, skill issue ?, idk)
I’ve been running old rapidash with arcanineEX. Old rapidash because getting energy to the arcanine is rlly important and u can’t afford to give more than one to rapidash
Love this deck but the youtuber @Neji4real showed this deck first and I love that this deck counters alot of new EX decks and as always bro keep it up👍🏽.
Even old rapidash works well against celebi ex decks. It takes 2 hits but I've won with it. Don't have new rapidash yet. Got plenty of new ponytas though
Blastoise deck would be cool but been trying to experiment with Lumineon and would love to see a deck about that for Bench Sniping, Also an Electric version with the New Raichu.
Imo the best anti Celebi is moltres EX and Arcanine ex, with Leaf to retreat. Ninetales and Rapidash require coin flips and/or blaine/giovanni to one hit KO Celebi, while Arcanine EX can do it in one fell swoop. Also, rapidash and ninetales can potentially be oneshot with celebi if they flip 2 heads, while Arcanine EX needs 3 heads. Alternatively u could try centiscorch or flareon, but I've found Arcanine EX to be best (centiscorch needs more energy and has higher energy demand, while flareon doesnt benefit as well from moltres since evee doesn't count as a fire type of course).
ive been trying to tell everyone about this deck. its almost unstoppable. i got beat by a weird Pidgeot deck and once by a Mewtwo deck but that was out of like 20 wins.
Hey man! Thank you for the amazing tips and decks. I want to share a adaptation that i did. One of my favorite decks of yours is that with the omastar line and articuno EX. But it struggles hard with the energy distribution, problem that was totally fixed with the AMAZING Vaporeon. 2x Omastar lines 2x Vaporeon lines 1x Articuno EX 1x Leaf 2x Misty 2x Professor 2x pokeballs 2x X speed Try it, it's pretty good. Do you think there's a way to improved it? Some card changes? Thank you, again! A hug from Brazil.

Having both Pokémon be good if you go second/ be usable only with 2 energies ain't the best and also takes out those timings where you need a quick attack to finish a Pokémon after your Ninetales has been defeated or whatever. Ponyta is a straight upgrade though.
