They have the money, advertisements over aew, the younger generations on their sides, the older nostalgic fans on their sides, movie stars and popular legends and wrestlers (they are more well known than aew wrestlers). Yep, and people don't want to admit it, but wrestling is HEATING up again because of AEW. Before, people were complaining about WWE not caring, now they've got great storylines and wrestling. AEW is doing what they're doing especially after this success at All In. Impact is has been going to Canada, Australia, I think the UK too. And there are so many cross overs between promotions as well. People are so stuck on the Monday night era that they can't see that we're now in the midst of a second wave of wrestling greatness and all because competition has come back onto the wrestling scene.

Having two huge promotions like AEW and WWE it’s far from a bad thing it’s actually great for Pro Wrestling as a whole. It created more Career opportunities there’s a ton of wrestling on pretty much every day, we get two PPVs between both a month so that’s like 25 days of live pro wrestling a month.. There’s no off season how could u not love it.. Not even counting ROH, Impact, NJPW etc.. Also last but not least we have TH-cam and all the great wrestling channels, Podcast and shoot interviews all in one.. As a fan of pro wrestling for decades I can honestly say this is considered another boom period for the Sport.. The 2020s is goin to be a very entertaining decade for us fans.. Btw can you imagine if all sports and forms of entertainment did shoot interview to kno their real opinions that would b fucking awesome..
With AEW’s recent success with All In London & if they gain more momentum and maybe overtake WWE in the future surely WWE Creative can then tell the board of directors & advertisers that WWE needs to abandon their sanitised product and take the nerf gloves off at long last like they did in 1997 with the Cure for the Common Show promo going into the Attitude Era

It took WCW a long time from it’s founding by Billionaire Ted Turner in 1988 until the NWO angle really took off in 1996 for them to overtake. Even with Ted Turner’s infinite money pit success was not assured right away like with any new upstart with huge bank behind it & sure it cannot happen over night but it is possible and it pushed the WWF into upping it’s game in 1997 going into The Attitude Era

Dude, WWE is a Billion dollar industry in its own right. That is just for starters, and I’m NOT taking anything away from AEW and it’s pro Wrestlers they definitely have some AEW built wrestlers in there own right with some positive future like MJF, Darby Allin, Britt Baker and etc BUT a lot of those even went to WWE sometime during there careers 😂🤦♂️😂let alone AEW doesn’t have NO homegrown pro wrestlers to boost from as probably 98% of that roster has been in WWE which makes it difficult for AEW to get that #1 spot from WWE. Look at the end of the day AEW is a great promotion BUT they definitely need like 20 years of leg work to catch up to WWE and that MACHINE.

Many AEW wrestlers success had nothing to do with being a lost worthless moment in WWE. THE FACT that you mention it just shows you're a WWE mark. WWE basically followed what WCW and ECW did that gained them success. WCW was ruined by many ex WWF stars and workers. People like Vince Russo, Hogan hurt WCW. If Vince McMahon had not bought WCW and kept it under the rug, WWE wouldn't have all the nostalgia going their way. Dude, WWE is a Billion dollar industry in its own right. That is just for starters, and I’m NOT taking anything away from AEW and it’s pro Wrestlers they definitely have some AEW built wrestlers in there own right with some positive future like MJF, Darby Allin, Britt Baker and etc BUT a lot of those even went to WWE sometime during there careers 😂🤦♂️😂let alone AEW doesn’t have NO homegrown pro wrestlers to boost from as probably 98% of that roster has been in WWE which makes it difficult for AEW to get that #1 spot from WWE. Look at the end of the day AEW is a great promotion BUT they definitely need like 20 years of leg work to catch up to WWE and that MACHINE.
Many WWE wrestlers have been in many other companies before. Legends like Rey Misterio, Eddie Guerrero, Big Show, Goldberg, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho.
Many AEW wrestlers success had nothing to do with being a lost worthless moment in WWE.
THE FACT that you mention it just shows you're a WWE mark.
WWE basically followed what WCW and ECW did that gained them success.
WCW was ruined by many ex WWF stars and workers. People like Vince Russo, Hogan hurt WCW. If Vince McMahon had not bought WCW and kept it under the rug, WWE wouldn't have all the nostalgia going their way.
Cause that's why they have a bigger following, cause marks keep watching the show even when for a decade plus it's been trash. And the McMahons kept coming back promising a change.

All the excitement in wrestling today is thanks to AEW. That's the reason Cody Rhodes is in WWE and is one of their hottest stars. Cause it wasn't TNA, ROH or NJPW what made him a Star it was AEW. That's why the WWE fans cheered him in his first day in WWE and even knew his theme song. Now with AEW, look as I clearly said there a good promotion and have some good resources with the Khan family. But a LOT of AEW most recent pro wrestling development has involved some of WWE taste like for example. Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, CM Punk, Adam Cole, Jeff Jarrett, Big Cass, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Rusev, Christian Cage, Malakai Black, Buddy Mathew’s, Samoa Joe, Saraya, Toni Storm, Rene Paquette, Big Show, Mark Henry, Jim Ross, and etc sooooo this example have a LOT of WWE foot prints all over. (That’s NO fault of AEW as this talent has signed with the company and they used the opportunity to get ahead.) but some AEW home grown talent has been in WWE like MJF, Ricky Starks, Eddie Kingston have a least auditioned with WWE which makes my point as WWE is still the number one company in the industry based on my examples that they’ve done the leg work to get that number one SPOT.
Soooo AEW is a good promotion but need a LOT of years and leg work to get that number one spot from WWE. 👈👈👈

In all honesty it’s a lot of marks that goes to these big shows every time I look into the crowds it’s alwasy like 85 % of just dudes and like 10% women and the other 5% kids aew needs to cater to casual audiences cause I doubt they could do this in the states
if aew did that then they will be competing against wwe to get the same fans and aew would have to change their entire persona. aew is thriving where they are at now. all those marks make enough money to come to shows and their kids will join to even old fans will join aew cause not everyone is willing to stick with wwe pg stuff that long. aew can do it in the states so far they are good at building stars and people love the rated r stuff.

Exactly. Think about how much they’re selling for this house show in India, the two shows a year in Saudi, the future show in Australia. AEW is still so small scale in comparison. Plus as much as All In might be selling, its the UK, it’s ALWAYS a hot market. When WWE does mania there (I say 2026 because the World Cup will be in the US, Canada, and Mexico), both days will sell out whatever stadium they use.
