When I first got into bonsai I didn't like shohin bonsai but the longer I've taken care of my trees the more I appreciate the smaller trees. There way easier to repot and harder to maintain. I also find goy in tedious tasks. I think it helps me think through problems I may be having and helps me let go of some of it.

Also the other Tweezers from other videos, they are both really high quality thick material - very impressive tools. Are they from Kaneshin or other manufacturer ? 🤤 (I really need them too) You could make a video about your tools !
The tweezers used this time are not for bonsai. I bought it at a tool shop in Akihabara, Tokyo, but Amazon says exactly the same thing. amzn.to/38T7i2N But honestly this is hard to use. The leaves are torn off because they are too precise. I have 5 other types.

Acer palmatum sin hojas? No puedo traducir bien ... Puedo hacerlo antes del brote. El propósito no es estirar los nudos de las ramas.

いつもわかりやすい動画をありがとうございます。中品もみじがあるのですが、芽摘みをしても葉が大きく、軸も伸びてしまいました。もみじも葉を小さくする目的で葉刈りをするのは有効でしょうか？よろしくお願いします。
大きくしないことはできますが、もみじは元々の葉性はかわらないです。やまもみじは若いうちは芽摘みきをつけても節は伸びやすいです。古くなれば伸びもおちついて、よくなってきますやっぱり性です

種から育て、二葉の次の2枚出た頃から、芽摘みはしなくて、ある程度15センチ位になり、盆栽として落ち着いた頃から芽摘みはするものなのでしょうか？
大きくしたいなら、暫く芽摘みはしなくてもいいと思いますよ！わたしは苗木でも伸びたらつむくらいはしてます。ボディができてきてから細かく芽摘みしてます。

楓は新芽がのびても最初の一節目は短いままなので、伸ばして力がついてから摘んだほうが下の方に芽をもってくれます。
最初のころはつんつんのびるかもしれないけど、葉刈りと切り戻し剪定をくりかえしていると段々落ち着いてきます
