Yeah the blood bowl art is really spectacular. Excited to see dungeon bowl!
For me, the silly humour in Bloodbowl is great. I like it when the writers acknowledge the ridiculousness of the grim darkness. I had an idea for a Genestealer Cult, called the Pittsburg Stealers. I'd like to see a 'nid Bloodbowl Team.
A number of people of done nid teams normally as Lizardmen. Genestealers as Saurus, Gaunts as skinks and a biggish thing as a Krox.
They did not do an almanac last year since they did the new edition but were still pushing spikes for 2016 very close to that release. So I do have a whole in my rules from that missing almanac. Got this on order at the flms along with the khorne team.
I will be forever peeved that they did not publish a almanac for 2020. It is truly the lost year...
I’m surprised you weren’t sent Dungeon bowl. Interested on your thoughts about that.
Mike picked one up about missed out on the Khorne team; so I gave him mine . Hopefully he get DB painted and we can give it a go in February!
Dungeon bowl is a good game for the channel. Crazy and random. Just make sure you build a map with 2 or more entrances to the endzone or the fireteam will just camp 2 ogres in the hall to the endzone and shadow has 0 ways to get by.
After several issues with things like this, we tweaked rule only one large from each team in room at a time.
I have the last two Spikes but I think I'll grab the Almanac from a collection aspect and just those few extra rules Plus trying to get my mate into this edition so I'll throw him my Spikes because I know his been eyeing up the Khorne too!!

We only got two Spike magazines in 2021, then again their production was all over the place what with COVID.
There’s a few 2020 issues in here too.
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames all the Spikes since the new edition, so hopefully they can get 3-4 out this year. If the posts this weekend of someone getting a yeti rather than the new rat ogre are legit, maybe the next team will be a Norse release. Great review BTW.

If Spike 12 had any real content for those who bought the 2020 boxed game, this would be a no brainer
BB3 didn't seem to take the game seriously.
Pointless book. Any one wanted a team that also wanted issue would own issues they need. No reason to buy book then. What should done was rereleased first issues, and update rules. That would sell to those that own older teams, and promotes sells for older teams kits.
I prefer this format to the individual issues so I just wait for the almanacs.
