hello sir, I got Asus 6z n got latest updates, in this updates call quality is really improved.. actually in sounds n volumes option there was otudoor mode enabled previously which was affecting the call quality, but now even after update the outdoor mode is there n we can disable it n after disabeling it the call quality is better, best practical smartphone according to me

Hi, I got the carbon black variant and have been using it for the past 4 days. This phone is just amazing and has no issue at all. Especially when we enable the Dark Mode and use it, it looks just amazing. The speed is good, there are very less add and in my usage over the past 4 days it has just been amazing.
Sir using from last 3 days . I have used OP6 before . This is a phone we can consider and performance is really awesome. Main advantage is Battery. I am a heavy user it is lasting a full day with 30% remaining at night. Use ICICI and purchase it for 26k. It is a beast of device and VFM phone.

One major flaw I found is that when you recieve WhatsApp video call, the front camera pops out even if the phone is in the pocket. This maximises the chances for dust particle from your pocket going inside the phone. I hope they fix it the next update.

Yes. Absence of ois is a big drawback. Low-light shots with gcam would've been much better if there was hardware (ois) to support the software. Also it would've been a much better justification to the 28k price tag.
I am using 3t and I can assure you that last 1 year updates would become terrible. Bluetooth stopped working, phone lags a lot, if you get a call it takes few seconds to connect due to lag. Luickly because of oneplus community I didn't upgrade from Dec 18 update and phone is fast because of that. Looks like oneplus is deliberately doing so that we would buy a new one.

Can install custom roms on both phones for stability and guarenteed updates so OS isnt a problem. I am a redmi note 4 user running Stock android pie and its almost identitical to a pixel. I can even install oxygen os if i want to Tbh

The pricing is excellent. The pros of this phone clearly outweighs it's competitors i.e the asus 6z and the op7. The redmi is the completely package. Amoled all screen display, headphone jack, triple camera set up and the list goes on.

the thing is, geekyranjit uses the device as his primary device for 2 weeks and then do a proper review. that is why his reviews are absolutely genuine, honest, and from the user perspective. nowadays smartphone industries got mad and 1 or 2 smartphones are launching in every week, so it's not possible for him to do a proper review of every newly released and upcoming smartphones. that is why he is very picky about which smartphone to review.
TBH with numerous brands and competition around the scene brand doesn't seem to matter much until they provide good value. Being a techy I will go with the K20 pro for its sheer value and performance, though my first choice was always OnePlus, the pricing justifies Redmi better in this case.
Believe me guys there is no adds , rightnow I m using k20 pro.feels very premium and amazing ..u guys just have to do one thing while setting up the phone don't give any access to mi apps .Then enjoy the mobile with out any adds.
The last phone Xiaomi launched in India as a budget flagship....I bought it in 2020 and still it is butter smooth although updates have stopped coming now and the battery backup have been a matter of concern now.

Ranjit ji, I have always watched your reviews before making a phone purchase or upgrade. One thing that I noticed you and most other reviewers missed is the audio quality from the 3.5mm jack. While you make a mention sometimes, you don't really go in-depth. Some smartphones have built-in superior audio processing chip that is not mentioned in reviews at all. I use my phone for listening to music when I'm commuting in trains and this is important for me when buying a upper-budget to premium category phone. Could you please review the audio quality via the headphone jack also please? Will be grateful!

TBH the price is insanely high for redmi's device but it feels like a premium smartphone very close to a flagship devices in terms of build quality and it's very good looking then poco F1 which was the last flagship product by redmi
I guess Xiaomi over-hyped it too much calling it the Killer 2.0 etc and considering the pricing of POCO F1 we all expected the pricing to be super aggressive but that was not the case.
@Geekyranjit i have bought redmi k20 pro... pros 1.display is amoled however not better as compare to oneplus and samsung devices 2. Interface is smooth and no ads i have observed so far. 3. processor 4. glass body cons even though its 48 MP camera but i am not impressed with performance , it does not look like imx 586 sensor. camera shots have too much noise 2. no dolby atmos speaker. 3. audio output is really bad when listening in wireless or wired earphone. Over all experience is OK, but not better as compare to one plus and that is why its costly...Oxygen OS is the most optimized OS for android as of now
Network reception has really started to be an issue even with flagship phones, I have samsung s9 plus and s8 but both can't even compete with samsung's own max or nxt models. Nowadays manufacturers are only focusing on what sort of processor, cameras and storage is used but not on the essentials.

It's been 7 days since I've been using the carbon black 6+128 GB edition. I have not experienced any lag whatsoever in the phone. The PUBG experience is simply fantastic. The full screen mode in videos is incomparable to any other Super AMOLED screen. For the ads I've deselected all the Mi user experience and recommendations and also I've used Android Debug Bridge to get rid of the bloatware like browser, Mi Music etc. The phone comes with Game Turbo 2.0 which looks really cool when you fire it up and the gaming experience is simply fantastic. The phone heats a bit if you play PUBG in high settings for about 2 hrs or more. The battery life is great and it runs for a 1 complete day without any issues. I'm getting a SOT of about 6-6.5 hrs on 80% brightness with 4g and WiFi enabled alongwith GPS at all times. The feel of the phone is perfect. It's tall and the screen in the dark with the dark mode on looks breathtaking. There are no compromises with the built quality for sure. It feels way more premium than OnePlus 6t or 7. Hope this helps. :)
when i bought this phone yesterday 8.30 pm it was having 65% battery left and today at 3.30 pm it is still having 18% juice left, I think that is nice battery life

The way you concluded,It's like you buy a maruti car eyes closed without much fuss if it is in a certain price segment say till 12 to 15lacs ,but are you ready to buy a maruti SUV for 25 to 30 lacs,the customer segment,the mindset totally changes, having said that I feel this is indeed a strong phone,which will become even stronger with updates in camera department..

Ranjit ji, I have always watched your reviews before making a phone purchase or upgrade. One thing that I noticed you and most other reviewers missed is the audio quality from the 3.5mm jack. While you make a mention sometimes, you don't really go in-depth.
Some smartphones have built-in superior audio processing chip that is not mentioned in reviews at all. I use my phone for listening to music when I'm commuting in trains and this is important for me when buying a upper-budget to premium category phone. Could you please review the audio quality via the headphone jack also please? Will be grateful!

hey ranjit i think the pricing is Ok the china price of 6+128 varient is 27k and in india its 28 and the 70% phone is sourced locally i think it justifies the price as the phone is like PERFECT FLAGSHIP KILLER
The thing is that if they would have stopped paying for the publicity with instagram influencers ,the cricketers and hoardings etc etc.. the price would be a little lower...around 26k.

TBH the price is insanely high for redmi's device but it feels like a premium smartphone very close to a flagship devices in terms of build quality and it's very good looking then poco F1 which was the last flagship product by redmi
I guess Xiaomi over-hyped it too much calling it the Killer 2.0 etc and considering the pricing of POCO F1 we all expected the pricing to be super aggressive but that was not the case.

i have bought redmi k20 pro...
pros
1.display is amoled however not better as compare to oneplus and samsung devices
2. Interface is smooth and no ads i have observed so far.
3. processor
4. glass body
cons
even though its 48 MP camera but i am not impressed with performance , it does not look like imx 586 sensor. camera shots have too much noise
2. no dolby atmos speaker.
3. audio output is really bad when listening in wireless or wired earphone.
Over all experience is OK, but not better as compare to one plus and that is why its costly...Oxygen OS is the most optimized OS for android as of now

Network reception has really started to be an issue even with flagship phones, I have samsung s9 plus and s8 but both can't even compete with samsung's own max or nxt models.
Nowadays manufacturers are only focusing on what sort of processor, cameras and storage is used but not on the essentials.

It's been 7 days since I've been using the carbon black 6+128 GB edition. I have not experienced any lag whatsoever in the phone. The PUBG experience is simply fantastic. The full screen mode in videos is incomparable to any other Super AMOLED screen. For the ads I've deselected all the Mi user experience and recommendations and also I've used Android Debug Bridge to get rid of the bloatware like browser, Mi Music etc.
The phone comes with Game Turbo 2.0 which looks really cool when you fire it up and the gaming experience is simply fantastic.
The phone heats a bit if you play PUBG in high settings for about 2 hrs or more. The battery life is great and it runs for a 1 complete day without any issues. I'm getting a SOT of about 6-6.5 hrs on 80% brightness with 4g and WiFi enabled alongwith GPS at all times.
The feel of the phone is perfect. It's tall and the screen in the dark with the dark mode on looks breathtaking. There are no compromises with the built quality for sure. It feels way more premium than OnePlus 6t or 7. Hope this helps. :)

when i bought this phone yesterday 8.30 pm it was having 65% battery left and today at 3.30 pm it is still having 18% juice left, I think that is nice battery life
