The electoral college was put in to be equal, otherwise the states with the highest population have all the power and all the say leaving only a certain number of states being represented rather than all of them. Remember, there is a reason why we are a republic. The federal government was created by the states not the other way around.

James I followed you since the beginning before CTO & you hooked up almost 3 years ago in november, I really dig you & CTO plus your new guys...even if one of them have an issue & needs to wait a bit for his turn to speak, no names... ;) Regarding Europe; unfortunately solar & wind is out of the question, there is no payback for over minimum 20 years for an investment even with government subsidiaries included (adding batteries are out of the question (even with current 50% subsidiaries !!!), they are horribly expensive, no payback in sight for decades & they might not last especially many years if "fill them up & then run them down 1-2 times every 24 hours), we have minus-rates in Europe reoccurring more & more often. During winter time there is no wind & definitely no sun (solar) & the prices reach the sky - as your monthly bill. The network distribute owners hate it. Anyhow, the micro-producers (panels on villas etc) are not the main issue for the network distribute owners, it is the larger solar panel, company owned, areas, there are a huge issue, due to the randomness that the power off/on into the system just comes & goes with clouds you just cannot predict. Also the more persons who install solar & wind in your area or network-area which are sharing the rate given or decided 12-24h before => will help you & all the rest that already recently invested in for example solar panels to earn less & less & less, trust me, I'm 4 years in with panels on my roof & since 2023 the prices are dipping due to all these subsidiaries given from EU & my own government (to many producers competing => prices goes down), I did lot of the work myself & landed on approx €1200 per installed kWp a couple years ago (today if you're lucky you can get by with €1800-1900). Not to mention the smaller solar systems like the balcony-solar-panels that you plug directly into your socket ("backwards" on one phase into the local network in your apartment/house) are damaging the network & your home electric equipment and are banned in several countries. Ok, lots of cons...pros: if you buy quality panels they will last several decades & the efficiency rate are rarely going down bye the years, also more & less zero maintainance, you might have to switch the inverter if it is not placed in a cool & well ventilated space, let's say every 10 years => €2000-3000). And maybe it's good for the enviroment...who knows where or what they are made of... Happy Days!

Deflation is not the kiss of death to an economy. Deflation is the natural state in a market economy without currebcy manipulation. A bitcoin economy would be deflationary, and would start a new golden age.
BTC might be like Gold but most can’t stomach the volatility and therefore don’t see it has a “stable” store of value. Give it another generation and people will look at it differently. We are heavy Boomers right now.

China is building an insane amount of renewable energy as to not rely on US, Russia or Middle East energy. Second point, factory manufacturing work is often low paying and low skilled - careful what you wish for, if you want USA to sip to ‘developing’ country status? Germany manufacturing is mostly a very specific car industry with robotics and engineering. Which is struggling hard with being competitive btw. Itd be good if you guys perhaps had some of other voices on these vids that can push back on a bunch of stuff and bring a different perspective…. Current you all say the same thing with the same economic and political sentiment.
