I knoooow. Like, sure, when it was first released, it felt out of the blue. But they have always referred to Astra as a continent (correct me if I'm wrong), so I think they were really planning on having different continents as well. That said, they also left Longzhou as is and didn't include it in the main story at all. So now, one of my biggest questions is "Why are these eclipsites only attacking Astra?" I also have a lot of other big questions. But alas, they'll never be answered :(
