- Suyab, also known as Ordukent (modern-day Ak-Beshim), was an ancient Silk Road city. Suyab was once the capital of Western Turkic Khaganate and is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Most important, Suyab is the home town of Li bai, the most famous poet in China.
