No. Its illegal to transport live fish to new bodies of water in most states. So look it up. It could lead to diseases being introduced to them just dying from shock in their new "home." Fisheries study their stocks' new homes for variances and adjust their breeding tanks' levels. The best thing would be to "feed" them goldfish food from a local mill or dog food/ pet food manufacturer. And talk to your local fish and wildlife guys.

These are of another era. Metal body & gears and a little on the heavy side. I also picked up very old, possibly antique lures years ago and have since lost them. I’m always on the 👀 for tackle. Those seem like the biggest largemouth you've caught on this channel so far! Really exciting to watch you fish in ponds like this. I grew up fishing in ponds on golf courses, and there definitely are some monsters in crazy places!
I was glad to look at the comments and see that so many had the same thoughts as I did. It's like seeing some dogs in a tiny and dirty confined place. It's amazing that they had as much weight as they had, but the muddy gills were tough to see. If I lived in one of those homes and knew those fish were there, I'd turn on my hose and run it for weeks.
I still have many of my old baits from same era (in my 50s now) and was actually using old hula popper yesterday. It (and others) still serve me well. And yes - I agree - try to relocate those beauties.

It always surprises me how many professional TH-cam fisherman are completely baffled by a Rapala. They've been around forever. Maybe it's a regional thing, but here in the Upper Midwest, they're so common. My favorite tackle shop has a whole row dedicated only to Rapala's. There are dozens of shapes and sizes and colors, and they catch everything from panfish to muskie. I don't mean to single you out, because I've seen it on several other TH-cam Channel's. People just seem totally confused over a lure that's been catching fish for decades.
The last tool you pulled out My grandpa had something like that in his tackle box that he gave to me. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s to remove the scales when filleting fish.

Technically anything that is 20 years old or older is considered vintage, and these are pushing 40 (or so it seems). But also wanted to point out that a bunch of those you're calling a spinner bait are actually Beetle Spins.
You have a few classic lures there...the black and silver minnow is a Rapala hand carved in Finland...a new one that size is about $25. Hula Popper is another classic and that French Spinner was a Mepps..a old standard. As you see that Jitterbug works great on bass

I found a tackle box at good will for 6 and just 1 lure paid for the box. Everything was in awesome shape. It’s all freshwater and I do salt right now but I’ll be doing some lake fishing in a couple weeks and excited to try out some of them.

The Devil's Horse is a GREAT vintage top water plug. I use to use them for stripped bass when they were running. The black and silver jerk bait looks like an old Rebel brand lure. Nice buy!

Long prop bait is a devil horse, jerk bait looks like a rapala it may say on the bill of the lure if legible. Arbogast mudbug is good for trolling smallmouth bass in the spring on rocky points. Jitterbug is excellent for largemouth bass topwater blow ups. All really good baits, you can still purchase all these still today. You got them at a great price.
I think that there is a correlation between that newspaper and the 4-day fishing license, they are both dated at the same week. I noticed there was a fishing section in that paper and I think Walter might be in it for a “catch of the week” kind of deal.

You can tell if the Rapalas are vintage. The mouth will be painted in a straight red line. New Rapalas are air brushed on. Vintage Jitterbugs are made of wood. New ones are plastic. Most of the lures seem fairly new.
Another exceptional top water to use is the frog pattern tiny torpedo lure caught many huge lunkers on that lure in my times aswell as the frog pattern jitter bug lure aswell my to fan favorites an last but not least is the lure called the super sonic fish lure too

Quinn Heinly you can fish them like a torpedo (the same thing but with one propeller) or you can retrieve at staggered speeds and jerk them.
