Finally a TH-cam video that does what the title says and gets straight into it! This was very insightful and so glad I found the video. Thanks for sharing all this information!!
Awesome video! Do you reccomend monitizing any skills you have? I'm going into a music performance major and in the future will have to do free-lance!(which I am excited about), but I also have enough skill as an artist to do commission work. Is it possible to do both?
Oh 100000%! Honestly, in my group of musician friends, most people do other things in some capacity. The music industry has room to be busy, but there are also going to be times when contracts overlap or have gaps between them and there’s not a lot you can do about that. For me, it was studio recording that I would use to fill those times. For other people, it’s commissions on Fiverr, or teaching, or composing. But definitely room for both :) hope this helps -Randy
Hey Chris! Good to hear from you. Yea, it's not too shabby! There's a lot of working around the clock, but actually playing music makes it very worth it! :)
More of this needs to be done by all of us! Thanks Randy for inspiring all of us! 🤩
Thanks so much for watching :)

Freelance is always a great choice.
