    Another clustering technique we recommend is hitting the like button and clustering that with clicking the subscribe button! This cluster will allow you to keep seeing our Fish Management videos as we post them.

      Thank you! We think it is a highly underused method when placing structures!

      We were told by biologist to keep the structure tight as you said, and not just a single tree here and there.

    Writing for a newspaper in Dallas, Texas several years ago, I covered a post-Christmas story where Christmas trees were collected and sunk into the middle of a lake to act as fish attractors. Recycling and natural. I have the pic and the article if you're interested.

      Problem we found with that is it is pretty labor intensive, not very effective, Not the type of bush piles that attract fish, you can't put them near shore or to many anglers get snagged in them and they break down fairly fast.

    How deep does the water need to be for these?

      @aquaticcontrol  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The shallow structures do well 3-5 feet deep. The taller ones do well 5-7 feet deep.

    Or you could simply use submerged aquatic vegetation. Much better habitat for fish and aquatic invertebrates. Not to mention other benefits of macrophytes such as biotic oxygenation, nutrient uptake, preventing substrate erosion, increasing overall biodiversity and complexity of lentic ecosystem…

    That's fish habitat. Fish structure is drop offs, creek beds steep banks etc...
