    Hello i have question why the flap go up so late maybe pilot forget thank you for good video

      Hello and thank you for your kind comment. Sorry for the shaky video with bad quality, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel with the content here and will probably stop uploading after next week.
      I did indeed notice as well that the flap retraction was quite late. However as I do not work for the Ryanair Group I cannot comment on their procedures. The takeoff was conducted with significantly reduced thrust on a relatively heavy aircraft, hence the shallow climb out, possibly contributing to the late flap retraction. I have seen here on TH-cam though that it is not entirely uncommon for them to retract them around 2 minutes after liftoff.

      There are different noise abatement procedures in each airport, either NADP2 or NADP1 procedure, based on that you retract flaps. In this case Riga is NADP1, which means flap retraction 3000ft above the ground level, thats why seemingly late retraction here. NADP2 which is slightly more common is retracting the flaps at 1000ft above aerodrome level.
